Big Mistake Buying Here, Shame on me!

Ordered rifle which stated it was new and was selling at a 25% premium above list. I was willing to pay premium on it assuming it was the new addition that came out little awhile ago but often sold out every where. There was little to no info other than new and a single picture.
Big disappointment because they say, were intermediaries, not the actual sellers.

Received a rusted gun

Received a rusted gun. Help service did nothing to help. After talking with them they told me they don't actually take care of anything about it when they get it. They don't even run single rod down a used gun to check the barrel before reselling. They put my bore down as excellent however the bore is fair with surface rust, scratches all over the stock and barrel, the gun had been fired way more than "excellent" would have you believe under there own policy. The gun way heavily falsely advertised and at only 40 dollars under full price for a new one. Absolutely horrible experience. Will never be ordering from your site again and have posted the messages along with dates. Several people have agreed with me that this was incredibly disheartening. None of us will be using this site due to the service provided.

Great company and comparable prices

Great company and comparable prices. Always have a great selection and prices usually are lower than most. Site is easy to select from and shipping took less than a week. I was consistently notified by email regarding the tracking of my purchase and when it was delivered.

Bid on a 30 06

Bid on a 30 06. Won it. However discovered they charge sales tax rate that the ffl is located. 4% added tax and I don't live in that town. Called them and tried to cancel. They said no. I had won the bid the previous night. I told them I will refuse the rifle. They said fine but it will cost $30 for shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Don't do any business with this company. Support your local gun dealer.

We must collect and remit sales tax for all of our orders and we must do so based on where the item is being shipped. By law, all firearms need to be shipped a licensed firearm dealer( FFL), so we have correctly calculated the sales tax to remit to your state based on their address.

Here at Guns.com we do support local FFL's both in the guns that you can buy, including your auction and where we ship them. This helps local gun shops all over the country.

Easiest buying experience I've ever…

Easiest buying experience I've ever had. Only a few minutes of searching led to what I was looking for and even faster I had the purchase. Paid and picked the FFL holder to ship to, and that was it. Only took a couple of business days to ship and I had it in two days after that. Will definitely buy from Guns.com again. Thanks.

Gun arrived unable to fire.

The Smith & Wesson rifle arrived unable to fire. A phone call was made to Guns.com who claimed that their policy of "All sales are final" included defective merchandise. Our attorney is reading a demand letter based upon multiple federal an Arizona statutes. Under no circumstances will we do business with Guns.com again nor would we recommend anyone else do business with Guns.com.

Horrible

Horrible. I bought and paid for the purchase online. Within an hour, received a cancellation saying it had just sold locally. Still not sure about my refund

It does not have very often, but sometimes we find that the firearm is no longer available and we are not able to fulfill it. The good thing is that we do not actually charge your card until we ship the firearm, so the is no need to wait for a refund. You bank or credit card company should have any authorized transaction fall off in a few days after the order is canceled.

More and Better Pictures

You need to have more and better pictures of each gun. Closeups of the major faults of the used guns so there are no surprises. The gun I bought turned out to be reblued with a cracked stock. I will not buy another gun from you without seeing 8-10 good pictures.

Disappintment

I received a firearm that I immediately had to return to the manufacturer for repair. I am aware that not all the blame for this over sight falls land on your shoulders. However, no one in your organization took the time to inspect this firearm when you received it or before you shipped it out. I believe that in your advertising that you clam to do just that. I hope in the future you will take the time to inspect and make sure someone is getting exactly what they paid for.
