Avoid Shopping at Gundersons
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Gunderson’s Jewelers and to caution against using their online webstore.
I recently purchased a limited edition Seiko Prospex watch for $3,100. Despite the price point, the item I received was clearly a display model that had been previously handled. It arrived without the original hang tags or any of the protective stickers that are standard and expected for a high-end timepiece of this caliber.
When I contacted customer service for an explanation, I was directed to a web developer who denied the facts of the situation and claimed that all watches are shipped in this condition. The lack of professional expertise and the refusal to acknowledge the condition of the watch is unacceptable for a luxury retailer.
I would advise looking elsewhere for any significant jewelry or watch purchases, as my experience indicates a significant lack of quality control and professional customer support.
