need to create a stupid roblox account to use guilded wtf!?

Extremly bad scam comapny what wants only your data, you cant normal login without share all you personal informations

Absolutely disgusting behavior from an app. I installed the app and found out I need a roblox accout to actually use the app. Decided to just uninstall, but the app does not go away. AFTER uninstalling it is in windows startup, registry entries, everywhere. A hassle to get rid off, you have to manually delete from everything. Do not install, who knows what harm it actually does to your machine

it has been a while since i've used guilded due to summer break, and so yesterday i went back on it and tried to change my profile. it didn't work, kept loading endlessly, and so i refreshed the page but it still didn't work. then, i signed out of my account hoping it would work, and i tried signing back in, but after putting in and verifying my email, it told me i needed to add my roblox in order to "claim" my account. i was frustrated because i am on a school chromebook and i cannot login through roblox. can you PLEASE f/cking change this??? stop making us connect random sh/t in order to actually use our accounts. really stupid.

horrendous application started out as a cheap discord clone and has now morphed into a cash grab by the developers who have completely disregarded their years old communities by forcing everybody to create and link a roblox account

Guilded is a good competitor for Discord and Guilded's features are free unlike some discord nitro features but I don't like how your forced to make a roblox account it's inconvenient for most people and it drives users away.

Guilded and Roblox should stay separate.

Guilded has good potential so I don't want to see it die and the Guilded team should try to avoid orders from roblox if possible because roblox just cares about profit.

Also they should add more discord nitro features and make them free to attract customers or make their own unique features.

Roblox ruined the platform. They're forcing all users new AND old to have a Roblox account. If you get banned on Roblox you'll get shadow banned on Guilded. This will make the platform impossible to gain non roblox users, and will flood it with... roblox users, which is not something anyone outside of Roblox wants. 0/10 it's not worth it anymore.

300 users abandoning our 3 year old guilded communities due to being forced to make roblox accounts that none of us want. Unfortunately back to discord. Such a shame.

Love the free features that are not paywalled (COUGH Discord)!

Some of my favorite features:
- FREE Emotes
- FREE extended upload of 500mb
- FREE Server Invite URL (no partner/boost needed)

I think Guilded is an upgrade from Discord since a lot of features are free on Guilded while they're hidden behind a paywall on Discord.

Guilded also has a better report system.

Sent an email in 2/8/2022 asking why I was randomly banned, no warning or reason given. I haven't joined any public servers and I've only been in one since I joined. They claim to be better than Discord yet refuse to respond to emails, had friends inside guilded contact staff, they'll refuse to do anything about it, claim they don't have that kind of power which is total nonsense, It's no excuse to not give a ban reason or respond back when contacting support, lazy excuse of a website and the code is not open source so they could be doing shady stuff on your PC behind the scenes, if you read staff messages inside public servers they are very very dishonest with users, such as IP tracking. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!

It's a good website, if some people just don't like discord this is a good alternative to discord, the only reason im not really using this that much is because i prefer discord but i do recommend this as an alternative to discord

The community is amazing so far, everyone seems kind and welcoming. The staff are nice and helpful as well.

The desktop app itself is alright for what I use it for. I love the variety of channels such as lists and the integrated calendar. Makes organizing, planning, and testing things a lot easier. Overall, the desktop app is amazing.

The android app has gotten better since I've started using it, about a year ago. While currently it still takes a bit longer to load big servers, usually above 10k members, it has gotten better. However, sometimes the UI freezes where I cant select a new channel, and cant swipe to view servers or different channels/groups. Other times, the app just freezes and doesnt let me exit the current channel, but lets me swipe to see other servers, channels, etc. I also know my phone isn't exactly the greatest compared to others, so it could be an issue of both.

Overall, Guilded is a nice alternative to Discord. I'd recommend it to anybody

Guilded really does not get enough credit for their platform. While much smaller in size compared to Discord, It does what Discord doesn't do and better. The staff are all helpful and work to make the platform the best they can make it. They actually listen to feedback from its users and do their best to figure out the best possible ways to improve the platform. I can't say enough about their Ambassador program, Gil Gang. What a great gang of helpful people.

Wonderful team and community!

I joined Guilded 3 years back and the amount of progress I have seen is awesome. The actual maintainers of the platform actually not only respond but hold conversations with the users, consistently!

The community is pretty fun as well, if you find your company, which was pretty easy to do in my experience with how inclusive and varied it's community is.

In more recent terms Guilded has also revealed new app features like it's bot api that can integrate with it's plethora of other features which are lacking in any other alternative while keeping up with the competition with small and interesting features like role icons and gradients.

All in all it's a platform worth giving a shot to grow your community and meet people in, the staff actually seem to care and tickets are actually addressed.

Guilded is an amazing platform with staff that actually care about their user base. Having had the immense pleasure and honor to work directly with their team I can say that they truly do care about those who use the platform, actually taking user suggestions instead of shredding it like every other company these days.

The features on Guilded are also better quality then other competitors. The staff is friendly and cares about their user base, and Guilded adds new features often!

I've been using Guilded for some time and I realize the centralized hate around the platform is due to the undesired change in other people's day-to-day lives. This meaning, those who use other competitor platforms will generally flock toward hating and shaming an up and coming platform. That being said, Guilded is by no means perfect, the ideal of perfection is a loose standard and fluctuates frequently based off of consumer demands. However, it offers a wide-range of tools and features which makes it very easy to organize and structure your community servers. The overall community within Guilded itself, taking into account their public server. It is very welcoming, helpful and always open to new users joining the platform. Overall I say it's an amazing platform, with improvements that need to be made of course, but it does not negatively affect its rating.
