To be honest, I was quite worried about ordering shoes online especially as Guido Maggi is from Italy and I live all the way from the land down under. However, Emanuele (I think he is the owner?) was very responsive when I messaged him on Whatsapp; when I had plenty of queries, he was patient. He also guided me in measuring my feet so the shoes I ordered could be customised, and not just the sizes in the website. Sure enough, when I finally got my shoes, they’re very comfy and fit really well. The deerskin leather is soft on my wide feet, and the construction is high quality. These elevators shoes did cost me quite a penny, but you pay for premium quality Italian craftsmanship and materials. I’ll slowly save money as I’m eyeing a pair of Lenox boots for next time lol.

Amazing experience dealing with GuidoMaggi from very beginning right after putting the order they contacted me to make sure the size it correct and even recommended few things, afterwards they even helped with some issue that came across which was not even their responsibility and the shoes were really amazing quality and comfortable to walk in. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 product will definitely place more orders and recommend.

My Guido Maggi shoes are by far my favorite shoes that I have in my shoe rotation. They are so comfortable and offer incredibly support for your feet. They are also insanely stylish and unique. I’ve gotten so many more compliments on my GM’s than I have for any other shoe brand that I own. They also definitely help you feel more confident. I think the best part of Guido Maggi though is their customer service. Emanuele, the business owner, responds to each and every message I send him, and he is PROMPT. I had so many questions in the beginning. But he is very friendly, patient, and walked me through the whole process (as someone ordering from the US). I cannot recommend Guido Maggi enough. I will definitely be buying more

Guido Maggi is an absolute legend.
Makes the best shoes of the whole world and even better he makes it elevated. If you want your confidence to get a great boost, buy the shoes. If you want a rich, luxury and premium look, buy the shoes. If you want a personally customised and elite top tier design, buy the shoes. I have found my favourite brand and I will be buying shoes from Guido Maggi for the rest of my life!

As a convinced GUIDOMAGGI customer, I already own 4 pairs of those wonderful shoes. My oldest one - and my absolute favourite too- is a pair of brown Chelsea’s with leather sole that I bought in 2016. Since than, I can’t even recall how often I wore those shoes. They’ve been with me in so many countries and locations… from having long walks in Manhattan to partying 3 days in a row in Berlin, they have been so loyal partners since the day I got them. The leather has become soooo soft and they now have such a beautiful vintage look that I still wear them on regular basis. I only had to repair the heel once - that’s it! One cannot imagine how good the quality is!!!

Since I haven’t bought some new shoes from Guidomaggi sin years, I wanted to make me a nice Christmas gift and add a new pair of dark Chelsea’s with a shorter ankle height. I grabbed the opportunity of the Black Friday discount (30%!!!!) and opted for the Marylebone model.
As I wanted those to be Winterproof, I customised them with a thin rubber sole and a bit of profile. The fact that every model is handcrafted following your order, gives one the opportunity to customise every pair as needed - in my opinion a pretty unique feature 👍

What really astonished me was the fact that, even after the corona pandemic, Ukraine war and all the other events that raised the cost of living continuously since 2020, the pricing of the Guidomaggi shoes are still at the same level since 2016. That’s really more than fair from Mr. Briganti 🫶

Finally, after 4 weeks of impatient waiting for the shipping (Yesss, you have to wait for quality), I got my pairs right before Christmas, as intended. The Packaging was again excellent, with a very decent and sturdy box that I love to use for storage. The finishing of the boots was again superb - as it always was. The leather is soft and smells so unique… they felt so comfortable the moment I dressed them up and the rubber sole is a dream… Again, those Guidomaggi shoes surpassed my high expectations and I literally wear them every day since I bought them. I was so impressed and happy that I couldn’t avoid to contact Mr. Briganti personally via WhatsApp to address my sincere respect and gratitude for the outstanding craftsmanship.
I know, these shoes are going to last and become a part of my life. In my opinion, the pricing is more than justified, and also this is the best answer to durability and environmental sustainability.

I really recommend this brand to anyone who understands and has love for beautiful and durable things - things that become part of you and are meant to be cherished and repaired and not thrown away.

I have been dealing with guidomaggi for sometime now. I have bought 4 different shoes from them. The quality is superb and the service is exceptional.

These shoes are not custom made, and do not fit well with a small height increase insole. The company produces a universal shoe which can accommodate a range of insoles, from 3cm to over 10cm. When you order the shoe, they throw in the requested insole and call it a custom shoe.

I purchased one with the smallest insole. The insole is a commercially available plastic insole, which was thinner than the shoe, so unstable, with a piece of leather glued on. These guys should be embarrassed to call themselves Italian shoemakers.

Because they claim the shoe is custom, they refuse to take returns or exchanges citing that it is a custom made product. This is against EU law and fraud. Unfortunately the only recourse is to go to small claims court to get a refund.

The result for the customer is, if you order a shoe with the smallest insole, the dimensions of the shoe are totally wrong, there is a huge space between the top of your foot and the laces, space which would be filled with the largest insole. The shoe has a huge bubble between the sole and the top of the shoe, which is totally obvious, and ugly, but the product photos are taken at such angles that it's not nearly as noticeable.

Customer service was pretty rude, dishonest, sent only voice messages (making it harder to file a complaint)— and for the price the shoe is absolutely mediocre. Totally disappointing and not recommended.

Luxury, great customer service. The minute i saw the box, I knew I had made a great purchase. I purchased the ALABAMA, I am very happy with it. Much recommended!
