Invaluable service!
MyUK Address was invaluable to me during my 12 months in Guernsey. I ordered a lot of practical, technical items which even Amazon and ebay sellers wouldn't send directly to Guernsey and although I had to pay an extra £4.95 shipping, this service enabled me to obtain things I'd otherwise be unable to locate (amazon) or pay between £20 and £60 shipping (ebay). I was accurate and honest about the contents of my packages and still met no problems. I'd recommend the My UK Address service to anyone living in Guernsey.

We need to add a nickname
I love this service from Guernsey Post but I can't tell which parcel is which when I'm asked to pay. Would it be possible to add a nickname for the parcel when we request it be sent via my myUKaddress? If I am expecting multiple parcels from the UK or elsewhere I can't tell them apart when I'm asked to provide details of the seller and the item price. Also, how do I know if a parcel is sat in customs and all the delay that brings?

I have just used the new service for the first time and it worked Fantastically.
I ordered two large very heavy lamps and lamp shades from Sophie Allport. They arrived and look great ! And at a very reasonable rate of postage cost .
Will definitely use again !!

Easy to Use
I Have used the My UK Address a few times now between its launch and now and it has worked really well for me and it is simple to use.
I even bought stuff from John Lewis which came from a reseller so wouldn’t deliver here and once it arrived I emailed GP Customer service to ask for a certificate of proof it had been shipped here which they did within a couple of hours, and I subsequently emailed it to JL and they have refunded me the VAT. So well done GP.

Fantastic service…
I have now used this service several times since launch with a number of companies that will not ship directly to the island. Have received excellent service each time. Really appreciate receiving photos of the items received so that you can see how it has been delivered to the Portsmouth depot and allows you to confirm what has been received and the value of the items. Delivery to my home address has been great with the usual great service from our usual posties.

What a great option when companies…
What a great option when companies won’t send to the island. I have used this option many times with great success. Easy payment service with photo so you can see which package is being sent. Quick service once paid. I have not had any issues with this method

This works really well. I've had 2 packages delivered from companies that would not deliver direct to Guernsey. They both got here with only 1 or 2 days added once I'd confirmed what they were and paid the postage. Great idea, well done Guernsey Post.
