Grundig Spares mystery stock numbers

I ordered a replacement Flap for a Grundig Freezer.
Grundig describe it as Drawer Group Of Printed and there is a unique stock number for each of three variants for my freezer. I quoted the correct stock number on my order. Problem is that Grundig do not list the stock number on their order confirmation or despatch confirmation so you have no way of checking if they are sending the right part, which they didn't.

Got a grundig dryer had it few months…

Got a grundig dryer had it few months needed new memory board then broke few weeks later no power going into it got an exchange on end of July and no power going into engineer came out and said needs new memory board same as last one and he has to order part i phoned currys they said I was to phone grundig for uplift number so I did that and grundig said No I have to wait a week for a part obviously there is a fault in these dryers never will I ever buy again RUBBISH

My washing machine has been broken for…

My washing machine has been broken for 6 weeks now, my machine is half filled with dirty water which is making my flat smell damp! My 6 month old baby boy is in and out of the doctors because of the dampness and they have sent 2 people to have a look but them 2 people decided not to turn up

Grundig Dishwasher…

We brought a Grundig Dishwasher on the 3rd April 2020 The dishwasher has developed a fault, which trips the RCD in the house.Contacted Grundig three weeks ago still waiting for parts can't use dishwasher, Grundig cannot even tell us when they will have the parts in stock poor customer service would not recommend Grundig to anyone .

Dishwasher flooded kitchen and short…

Dishwasher flooded kitchen and short circuited house so rang to make a service request . After 45 minutes holding on phone whilst incompetent person tried to book a call have been given one in 35 days time !!!!!! What kind of service is this ?????? Worse mistake ever buying Grundig !!

Called the customer service because the…

Called the customer service because the blade of my Grundig Handheld blender broke off when blending. The customer service just told me they can’t help me as I bought the product overseas. They aren’t helpful at all to get the contact and just cut me off. The blade of the blender broken off is danger to life if one did not notice and swallow it together with the food. Yet, they seem not concerned.

Really poor customer service and…

Really poor customer service and unreliable products. Bought a new fridge which stopped working after a month. Got the fridge through currys. I rung the supplier grundig directly who told me for a replacement id need to call currys . Currys then told me to call grungig back up for a repair. I was told if there was no fault with the fridge I would be charged, this begs the question if there is no fault with it then it would probably work and none of this would happen . The earliest they could schedule a repair for the fridge was over a month which is a long time a long ass time to go with no fridge. Absoloutely toss.

big old Grundig cassette player

Owned a big old Grundig cassette player. Now, it was a bit funny-looking on the design side, if i may say, but it worked well for decades, and that's what matters. Don't remember having anything else from Grundig, so 4 stars..

A guilded poop

Bought a Grundig dishwasher thinking a Grundig was a good name oh my God I was wrong!
this thing has been an absolute nightmare from about six months of owning it is constantly breaking down you have to keep pulling it out of the gap and tipping it on its side because the bottom sump fills with water and then it won’t drain out (it’s not blocked) we’ve changed the door catch on it twice.
now it’s currently dead! It’s racing through the numbers and bringing up codes, The strange thing is there is nothing on the Internet to help you, I’ve scoured! but it’s almost like grundig has gone out of their way to stop those posts
This machine is less than 2 yrs old and I paid £600 for it. I’m livid I could have bought 3 crappy ones for that price.
I refuse to call another engineer I’m just going to bin it and buy something else
Lesson learnt....never buy an expensive Grundig expecting it to last!

Grundig Fridge/freezer

I purchased a Grundig frig/freezer last year thinking I was purchasing the best. How wrong I was. I replaced a Samsung double door unit because of a kitchen layout change. What a mistake I made. The Grundig sounds like some clapped out car engine and about as noisy. It has no warning lights of any kind and no temperature indicator. I am waiting for it to cause trouble, so that I can replace it.

Do NOT believe their Guarantee

Do NOT believe their Guarantee. Our fridge went wrong, I contacted up the Guarantee and an inspector called round within days. His report condemned the fridge as irreparable, this he filed with Grundig. Then they started, who were the retailers? This information was supplied along with serial numbers etc. What happened? a point blank refusal to replace the fridge. We only bought the fridge because we thought they were a reputable company.

Bought a Grundig fridge freezer

Bought a Grundig fridge freezer in December 2019 and had 3 call out repairs within 6 months already! The freezer keeps intermittently defrosting. I am getting a replacement fridge freezer but a different brand! not impressed given that it comes with a 5 year guarantee!

Archaic communication systems and very rude engineers who don't listen

Freezer is still under guarantee. Grundig hasn't moved to 21st century. Have to phone and wait 30 mins for an answer. After 3 calls an appointment arranged but text a few days later to say different day. Another hour on phone to arrange back to original time. Rude engineer arrived who wouldn't come in because my husband wanted to wear a face shield. He refused to discuss. I wonder how he buys his petrol. He must come across people shielding in shops and petrol stations daily as it's now a legal obligation to shield. I think he was confused with the government advice that people with medical conditions and a letter from NHS should self isolate for their own protection. This advice ended last week and they are allowed out. They were never a risk to others only themselves.

Bought the tall fridge and freezer from…

Bought the tall fridge and freezer from Currys delivered yesterday , waited 24 hrs not cooling at all .Fan in the freezer not running ..seems dead .. All my food getting rot .
I wish i had read the reviews before buying it.
I will never buy anything of this company again , may be not from the currys as well .
So Disappointing !!!

Grundig Tumble Dryer

Bought a Grundig Tumble Dryer with 5 year warranty, broke after 18 months, engineer visited, ordered part been waiting 4 weeks for him to come back! I keep chasing, engineer keep cancelling/failing to turn up. Currys PC World would do better to not stock shoddy produce. I've learnt my lesson, next time I'll buy Samsung or LG.

Overpriced faulty tat.. Avoid!

Bought a Grundig fridge freezer from Curry's, thinking it was going to be brilliant. Sadly was let down by both Curry's and Grundig - it was faulty from day one and was told by Curry's that I had to source an uplift code from Grundig myself - if you have a similar issue, let me tell you that firstly if the item is under 30 days old then the onus is on Curry's to obtain this, as your contract is with them and not Grundig.
I did eventually get an uplift code and then it took 6 weeks for it to be collected. I'm still waiting for a refund and am without a fridge freezer until I have been refunded. Curry's are quoting two weeks, but I am seeing reviews where customers have waited FIVE MONTHS!
Basically you're paying for an overpriced re-badged Beko if you buy Grundig. Both are owned by Arcelik, and both use the same Turkish factory for their product runs. So basically you're paying £150-200 more for a five year warranty that isn't worth the paper it's written on. Steer clear, there are other manufacturers out there with five year warranties that are reliable!

Totally un-impressed.

I purchased a fridge freezer from Curry`s at Ipswich last Sept 2019, during the heat wave last week it broke down, I lost all my frozen food and all the produce in the fridge was ruined, I rang Grundig customer services ( 25 MIN WAIT TO BE SPOKEN TO ) I had to go through the normal interrogation questions whilst being informed I wasn't entitled to a refund or replacement by a very rude young person and that I had to have it repaired, really? after only 9 months? Well its been 2 weeks without a fridge freezer , no way of keeping my food and drinks chilled a man is coming round to re-gas and replace the compressor ( the 2 main components of the product) and I`ve yet to have my calls answered as to compensation for the food I`ve lost. I wouldn't buy Grundig again if it was the last company on the planet. Very poor product, appalling customer service, stay away from Grundig.

Grundig fridge freezer model GKF15810W

Fridge freezer bought in September 2019 from Currys. We Can not open fridge door for several minutes after closing due to vacuum.
Temperature control very poor. Vegetables gets frozen and gets spoilt. Overall poor quality performance.
Do not recommend Grundig make. Never had any experience with previous fridge freezer,
When complained to customer services we were told this was normal

Zero Customer Service

My 90 year Mother purchased a Grundig Tumble Dryer in February along with extended warranty. Beginning of May stopped working, Engineer from Currys requested to attend end of May I start asking when they intend coming. Today still no repair so I decide to contact Grundig themselves call is then simply transferred to Currys. Yet on their own website they state THEY have Engineers yet another rip off.

Awful dryer

Awful dryer. Went faulty within a month. Did not offer an exchange. Offered troubleshooting which then went faulty again. Although i reported within the first 30days will not offer an exchange
