After some dialogue with customer service that ended with me asking for verification they have paid my past due balances, they stopped responding. Grow credit is a predatory fraud company in Canada at best. It serves no viable purpose and only costs consumers time and money with no tangible benefits. Run away it’s a scam
6 Months of Payments — No Credit Reporting and Missed Subscription Payments
I signed up for GrowCredit.com because the service claims it will help build credit by paying your subscriptions and reporting those payments to the credit bureaus.
After six months of paying their monthly fee, I have seen zero movement in my credit. More concerning, Grow Credit does not appear as a tradeline on any of my credit bureaus at all. If nothing is being reported, then the entire purpose of the service is defeated.
The way the service works is you attach subscriptions and Grow Credit pays them, then reports those payments to the bureaus.
In my case:
• One subscription was paid for six months
• Another subscription was late four times
• Today the subscription was cancelled for non-payment
So not only is there no credit reporting happening, but the payments they are supposed to make on my behalf are unreliable.
I contacted support and spoke with Raul, who told me:
“I’m going to forward your ticket to Grow Credit’s technical team so they can investigate further.”
That was a week ago.
Today I followed up and received this message from Kat:
“We're still waiting on a response from our tech team and we will follow up with you as soon as we have some news.”
What does that even mean? Does the support team not have direct communication with their own technical department? Why would it take over a week to investigate an issue related to payments and credit reporting?
At this point I’ve paid for six months of a service that has provided zero credit benefit, and their system has even caused problems with subscriptions that were supposed to be handled automatically.
I hope Grow Credit resolves this quickly, but based on my experience so far, the service has not delivered on its core promise.

Incompetence
This company is a joke your bank account will constantly disconnect and you will have to reconnect it you will get emails over and over and over saying reconnect to your account reconnect to your account it's a major joke. I had talked to Kat. She was so incompetent that I thought it was AI and I made that comment that the person I was talking to was AI when I set my email and she came back with no I'm a real person blah blah blah and if you are rude this that whatever will take measures against you then I checked my next email and she had closed my account and I was glad truthfully that way all my info is erased I told her if she tries to collect any debt from my bank account that I will charge them with fraud. And I'm going to have my bank account block them from trying to take any money out of my account. My credit union is already aware of them nobody's heard of them but they said that they were supposedly legit. But I don't understand how a credit company in the middle of trying to fix your credit will tell you that their sponsorship ran out and that they're going to close your account and you can reopen it in a month figure that one out does that sound anything like a company that approves your credit. I told Kat if she tries to hurt my credit in any way that I will file charges for personally attacking my credentials.

Grow Credit.com is horrible!! Dont risk the incompetence! I cancelled my account 2x since their website and customer service was sooo poor and now i have to cancel a 3rd time and they told me it will take 3 to 5 bds days after I waited the 1st time!!! Meanwhile, they are ripping me off in fees!! Next call will be to the Attorney General. Smdh
Terrible experience with Grow Credit
Terrible experience with Grow Credit! They reported a late payment to the credit bureaus inaccurately despite me using their autopay services. I provided evidence to their Legal and Compliance departments from my bank statement showing the payment was made but they still refused to correct the inaccurate report. I also showed them evidence when they admitted to an internal error which reported my account owing a balance when it did not. As a result, I filed a complaint with the California's State Attorney's Office as well as an FTC complaint and a complaint with BBB and CFPB. In my opinion this company does not come close to living up to their brand name and I recommend every one to avoid them and find other alternatives to build credit.

Grow Credit sent me a text message on 5.14 about my grow account being interrupted. I contacted the chat support on 5.16 (today) and Raul indicated that Grow Credit will be closing out my tradeline and report it as closed next due to a partnership ending. Honestly, that's so unacceptable especially how it can affect the age of history of the credit for its customers. No detailed explanation was provided by Grow Credit other than just see if I am eligible for the new program which will result in having a new tradeline reported by Grow Credit and it will result in having a negative impact on the credit score as showing up as new credit.
Pretty easy to build credit
This app has been awesome! I love that by paying for subscriptions I already have, my credit score goes up!

It took some time but Grow Credit…
It took some time but Grow Credit really helped me to improve my credit. And it has been nice to set my subscriptions up on this account to be paid every month and I just pay this one bill every month. It was so easy to set everything up, have one set date every month to pay all my subscriptions and improve my credit score at the same time!
