Great group to work with.

Our class had a great experience! The set up and ease of use was helpful to our students and parents. Thank you so much for all the help setting us up for success !

I wish I could give them a higher rating because Greg Evers the local rep did a great job working with our high school basketball team to raise money. I've used multiple of these fundraising organizations to raise money for our high school basketball team. In terms of what group fund provides, their fees are a little bit lower than the bigger companies. However, they still were not clear with us that they were charging a required "processing fee" of 2.99 per donation on top of the 10 percent of donations that they took for their services.

The bigger issue though is our fundraising campaign ended on December 12th. Our program raised over 11,000 dollars. Other sites we have used give the option to direct deposit the funds, and we had the funds within 2 days.

Groupfund issues checks. I needed the funds to pay coaches and some other bills by the end of the year. For some reason the company didn't mail out the checks right away because they took the holiday break off, and they didn't want to mail the check directly to schools over the holiday break (never mind that our check wasn't being mailed to the school) It took getting the CEO of the company involved to overnight the check after multiple emails. The check was sent out a few days ago We are getting the check on January 6th, 25 days after our campaign ended. We had no communication until sending threatening emails. If I wouldn't have said anything it would have been close to a month to get our funds for our program.
Until they are upfront about the fees that they charge and figure out a better and more efficient way to deliver funds to programs, we will use a different platform.

Group Fund is a great fundraising platform. Getting back 90% of our donations was far better than the other competitors. But also made our experience so wonderful with our representative Kelly Kitchens. If there were any type of pick up along the way, Kelly, was quick to respond we never had to wait for a reply. Mistakes will happen. It’s how the company handles them. That is incredibly important. I will be asking for Kelly next time around.

Kelly with GroupFund was amazing to work with as she made it easy to set up the account and helped us with the design. The sign up for the players was easy and we met our Fundraising goal in less than two weeks. Our team gets to keep 95% of the funds raised as well. An overall convenient and wonderful experience.

Easy to use and easy to monitor. Not a lot of effort needed on our end needed.

Barton was very helpful and answered the many many questions I had. He was very kind and came to explain how the fundraiser worked to the students.

I’m all about transparency in things like this. All fund raising companies have a fee or percentage attached, but I think a flat rate of $2.99 per donation w/a $10 minimum is utterly ridiculous. That means you’re charged a maximum of THIRTY PERCENT for every donation. Alternatively a $300 donation would make it only 1%. While that may seem to justify it, it DOESN’T as many people are struggling these days and will likely not have more than $20 to give! This fee takes FULL ADVANTAGE of Middle Class individuals unable to give MORE and at the SAME TIME makes it LESS costly for those MORE PRIVILEGED INDIVIDUALS capable of giving THE MOST! Sounds eerily familiar DOESN’T it. NO THANKS…I’ll donate in PERSON‼️

This has been such a rewarding experience. I have run campaigns like this before but Kelly and Groupfund really raised the bar! Super organized, easy, great ideas to engage the players and families and even running the actual 20 minute campaign. We raised double the $ in the previous year and had a high % of players engage. Thank you so much!
