Been a customer since 2024 under their old brand. Their plugins are excellent and offer great value. They went through some changes but came back stronger as Grootmade. Great experience so far, and I'm excited for what's next!

Festinger/GrootMade have fraudulently taken payments starting April 2025.
They took double payments from an old subscription that had cancelled - so you definitely know its fraudulent.

They then blocked me, refused to reply - I had to cancel my credit card as theyre STILL trying to take double, fraudulent payments (I keep getting failed invoice emails)

Festinger/GrootMade/Martin Groot are also going around trying to take any negative reviews down.

UPDATE: Grootmade up to their usual tricks pretending that they didnt take this money.
I have emailed FestingerVault/Grootmade Fri 24 Apr, 11:56pm stating that I have registered this fraud with New Zealand police.

My experience with this company has been appalling.

I purchased two lifetime licenses when they were still operating as Festinger Vault. They now operate as GrootMade, but in my experience the business remains completely untrustworthy.

After all the issues, I was told that restoring my license would be a “gesture of goodwill.” At the same time, I was asked to leave a Trustpilot review first and then report back once it was done so that my access could be restored. That is not goodwill, and it completely destroys any confidence in the credibility of the positive reviews on this profile.

I paid, I supported them financially, and in return I got pressure, excuses, and conduct that I consider dishonest and manipulative.

Based on my experience, I strongly warn others to stay away.

Having the ability to test out specific plugins before committing to a license is the most economical way to build out a project. I've been relying on Groot for this very reason for a few years now and I appreciate the variety of products, the fact that they're updated on a regular basis, and that there's never been a safety issue. I've used other similar platforms but none have been as reliable as Groot.

I also like that there's a built-in community and customer support (no emails). I've only submitted a couple of minor questions and they've always been sorted out in a decently short time. Highly recommend this platform!

Scammers from the Netherlands. Beware! Lifetime licenses are only transferred after the takeover of Festingervault, and then deleted again. They offer a cheap subscription, meaning you're supposed to pay twice for the same service. M. and T. are real businessmen who simply want to rip people off. The worst part is that the website often doesn't work and the plugins are outdated. They even crash websites – definitely not recommended!

Great value and really helps a lot in my business

Contacting them to activate licence and to get it activated they ask for a Trustpilot review to be left before activating your account! Surely this goes against trustpilots TOS? Likely where all the other positive reviews came from

They cut me out of the lifetime acess that I paid for and asked for more money.
I even gave them 5 stars, but they cut my acess anyways. I PAID for lifetime acess, come on.
They tried to charge the card again too, lucky I canceled that card long time ago.

GrootMade is an amazing solution for any wordpress user, whether you're a power user running multi-site or someone who just started and is eager to experiment with themes and plugins. For the cost, you can't beat it.

Don't trust the positive reviews (they are manipulated and mandatory reviews they ask for to use the service); the files are outdated, and many contain viruses. Refrain from using them.

They have become scammers; they used to be called Festingervault, but since they constantly failed their clients, they now call themselves GrootMade. If you buy services from this site, be aware that they will scam you.

They ask you to leave positive reviews so they can release your license.

I bought a lifetime license under the old name 'Festingervault,' and now they say they will only release the license if I leave a positive review here, which I will not do.

They said it's a "goodwill" to release the license to me, even though I bought the lifetime license to avoid this kind of thing. I was only able to use it for a few months before the previous GrootMade started having constant glitches, outdated features, a lack of response, plugin problems, viruses... And no, it's not from a competitor, as they're saying in the negative reviews; it's GrootMade itself, formerly known as Festingervault.

They tell you to contact them if you have a problem, but GrootMade support doesn't respond, so no, it's not a reliable company as they're portraying themselves to be. Don't trust the files they're providing.

Good website, nice plugins/themes and the OpenSource project is amazing and following the original core values of WP.

The platform offers an impressive collection of themes and plugins all in one place which will save you a lot of time and money.

Everything is easy to use, fast and reliable.

[Edited review] I changed my first review from 5 star to one star.
The website has become a scam website so do not sign up or buy any plans.

When my lifetime subscription was reverted to free i contacted support and asked if they could fix it since i bought lifetime license. They then asked for me to leave a positive review at Trustpilot and they would fix my license and give me back the lifetime license i had bought,.

After i left the review T0mmy ignores my messages and did not upgrade my account back to lifetime and i am still stuck on a free account.

I have proof and screenshots of the messages and also the initial email saying i had to leave a Trustpilot review to get my account back.

For all the people leaving a positive review to get back the lifetime license you paid for i suggest you all change your review so we can make sure they do not scam even more people.

Been with the festingervault.com before and was impressed but this one runs a lot smoother and offers more than before. I am glad this is back and hoping it stays back :)
