Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Turned up at the Anlaby store fifteen minutes before closing to do a quick shop and the security lady cosplaying as a policewoman tried to actually physically stop me entering the premises (I had seen her turn back the lady entering the store in front of me). When I queried why she belligerently stated that she had been instructed by the on duty manager to not let anybody else in. I pointed out that the store was advertised as closing at 10.00 PM and I had ample time to complete my shop. Ignoring her testy attitude I continued with my shop which took ten minutes - I have my receipt time stamped at 9.55. After paying for my shop I asked the self service area supervisor if I could make a complaint to the on duty manager. When the manager came I explained the situation expressing that I was annoyed that he had instructed the store to be closed to further customers at which he just shrugged his shoulders.

Long term user of Morrisons, no complaints as such.
First time user of Morrisons More delivery, and still waiting for a delivery that was due between 4 -5
It's now gone 7pm. There's no one to call and no way to cancel.
You've just lost a customer 🤬
UPDATE. 1. 9.15 pm and still nothing.
UPDATE. 2. Received an email at 2.31 am saying my order has been cancelled. No apology, no reason why, but click this button if you want to reorder!
UPDATE. 3. Received another email at 8.45 am apologising for cancelling/ not delivering my order. Here's 7000 bonus points.
I'm absolutely appalled that a big company like Morrisons can't contact a customer if their delivery is not arriving, and even worse, giving them no way of contacting them.
TL:DL AVOID MORRISONS MORE,THEY DON'T DELIVER . USE CO-OP !!
REPLY TO MORRISONS UNDERNEATH:
Just so we're clear about this. There was NO COMMUNICATION about this order, so why use the word 'clear'?
Or was this the email I received at 2.31am, saying it had been cancelled?
If you can't deliver the goods,do the decent thing and let the customer know (preferably sooner than 9+ hours.)

My order gets delivered this afternoon and I just received a mail of all the products that weren´t available.
ALL these products are main ingredients for each day of the coming week. Why did nobody noticed this and phoned us to find out if we want to cancel the order?
Hubby and I are elderly and we don´t have a car, hence our online-shopping. Now we are having a whole week without meat/fish. And the fresh herrings, beef-bones and pork hogs were the reason we used Morrison this week instead of the reliable Sainsbury.
God, I am pissy :(.

Morrisons take the piss!!! Not only are your products shit but your fresh produce is a joke!!! And your customer service is a laughing stock!! Ordered £30 ESSENTIAL shopping on Morrisons now to be delivered within the hour yesterday! Didn't arrive, no communication till i rang, it got cancelled whilst im waiting like a lemon!! Customer service dont care, wouldn't offer goodwill gesture!! Rang today with another order i stupidly placed because the stupid 3rd party guys they recruit to cut corners and save themselves some money couldn't see the massive difference in address and delivered it to another address and just left it outside!! I've gone all day without food!!! Have no money in my account because its been taken for today's transaction and will have to wait 5-7 working days for the refund so can't even go to the shop!!! Waiting for supervisor to call by the end of the day!!! Screw you greedy pigs!! Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful I'm going to the BBC and trading standards!!! 100% unacceptable!!!!!

Last week, I got sick from Bleach inhalation, after at my local Morrisons shop, the staff used pure Thick bleach to mop the floor. Spoke to Head Office customer service, and they were very dismissive. I told them if they didn't deal with it, and offer me a compensation, I would take legal actions against their store staff cleaning practices. Instead, they sent me an online survey. It seems, they don't care, but after they'll be on the BBC News and sued for mal practice, I am sure, they'll pay attention

Wasn’t sure if it should be a three stars however I like their variety.
Their delivery is often late and damaging products - and support is just ignoring any reports of it. I’ll be looking for another service

Today I shopped at Morrisons for the first time in ages. I'm on holiday with my husband in Inverness, so went along to this store. I bought the meal deal which was one main, two sides and a dessert. The Best chips were the worst ones we've tasted, we had to throw most of them away as they tasted awful, only ate some as we were quite hungry. I only hope the other items I bought are better.

Went into Morrison's Festival park branch,on late Saturday afternoon on 02/05/26.
Purchased some Organic potatoes,
thinking they would be a treat,no they had lots of black spots inside, not just one or two.Had to bin them.
Purchased some pork chops, they were expensive. When I got home they had the use by the following day 3/05/26 these were on the meat counter late Saturday afternoon. They should of been reduced.
They were not great either!
Went to buy a uncut loaf of bread, it was like concrete, still on the bakery counter, glad I did not buy it.
I usually go to Tesco, I thought I would give Morrison's a go.Sadly, I doubt if I will a shop at this branch again,it really needs addressing!

Terrible stores. Toilets usually stink and are broken. Nothing on the shelves despite staff constantly restocking. Tried to bring this up with customer service and i was asked whay item i bought, this was irrelevant. (Edit at request of morrisons to incude store names) Ive visited several stores across the UK including Cromer, Norwich and Ealing. They are all the same quality.

I bought Morrisons own brand oxyaction stain remover and it was useless. Left it on stains for 12 hours and didn't remove them.
Went on Morrisons own website and it is impossible to review an item either without buying it again or by entering bar code, batch numbers etc, basically making it so you can't leave a product review without it taking ages.
I shall be buying the branded one again in future and steering clear of any other Morrisons own cleaning products.

Arrived in store as signed up for more card thinking that if I spent £60 in store I get £15 off shop but it is only for online. If I had stayed home, spent £70 I would have got free delivery, saved fuel and got £15 off my shop. Please be aware as the terms and conditions are in small writing. The teller was rude and called someone else over stating please deal with customer as I can’t do what she wants and she won’t wait

I ordered a Morrisons now delivery after being sent an email with an offer. I received an email after 1 hour saying it was picked and waiting for a driver. I waited in the house from 11.30am and my items never arrived and at 2am the next morning it was cancelled. Absolute waste of my time. How to turn a loyal customer into an ex customer.

Staff are very friendly. The fruit promotions are very poor. Fruit often bruised due to poor handling. Similarly a chaotic display of fruit promotions. Some there, but others in a different place place. Why not all together?
Many labels on shelves right through the shop do not represent the item on it. Finally, you must throw a lot of food away. Shopping at 5pm/6pm plenty of food stuffs in the Bakery, Fish/Meat, pies etc. Can you not discount some of this to rid food that will only be sent to waste?
**just visited again 02/05/26 using self scan. The supervisor had to intervene on 3 separate occasions to amend prices. In other words don't believe the prices shown on the coffee, milk or salad items. The helpful supervisor reduced a total of £4.35 that would have been incorrectly charged. I'll let head office know about this continuous neglect.
What happened to the customer care or the Pricing and Display Act? Suggest general manager gets around his store and takes a real interest in walking around the store, matching labels to the products on the shelves. It takes me no time at all to do this, it's basic retail management.
Next time I'll bring my camera and post these examples, and many more, on line AND to your head office.

Absolutely useless. Made an order for 4 packs of orangina and had to add £13 worth of items to push it above the minimum delivery.
On the day of delivery they only had one pack of orangina in stock which is ridiculous as the stock levels are supposed to be live. I wouldn't have ordered if I knew and I certainly won't be using them again. I'd advise you don't either.

Bought mini chicken fillets, they were succulent once cooked. I will be buying my chicken from here from now on, as Asda’s mini chicken fillets are far too tough and rubbery.

Really annoyed that you have discontinued BOTH the vegetarian plant revolution fishless fish alternatives. I absolutely LOVED both the fish-less fingers and the fish-less fillets. I can't believe you have discontinued both of them. It's all vegetarian burgers & sausages now which is so boring. I don't buy anything from Morrisons anymore, even though it's my local supermarket. You've discontinued far too many products & your prices are far too high. The vegetarian range is now very poor.
