I was impressed by the positive online feedback about this company, the fact that they delivered and fitted at your home and offered good value. Unfortunately for me grippy's service was not as advertised. It was very poor. I ordered 4 new Pirelli tyres for my car for fitting on 29th Dec between 8am and noon. I was called at 10.30am on the fitting day by Grippy to say they had only 3 tyres and were trying to source a 4th from their suppliers and would call me back. No call back came so I phoned at 3.30. Still no update on the 4th tyre and told they could not fit on the agreed date. I was promised a call back the next morning (30th) at 9.30. No call back came. I called Grippy at 10am. Grippy were not able to get a 4th tyre until 7 January!! I asked for a refund as the timescales were completely unreasonable. Refund agreed. I would recommend you phone this company prior to booking online. Their booking system is not linked to their suppliers so when your online order is sent Grippy will try and source your tyres from stock or suppliers. You may be waiting a lot longer for your tyres than you think.

Andy came all the way from Nottingham to Leeds to fit two new tyres on our Citroen C3. He moved the other wheels round so they were both on the front.. He was courteous and efficient. I shall definitely recommend Grippy to family and friends.

the guy that did my tyres"Andy" arrived with is trusted companion the harry machine "his van" was very friendly and down to earth, the tyres were very adequate and fitted quick and an all round excellent job (so glad i did'nt have to take to a garage) i will certainly be recommending grippy to friends and family, and more than likely be seeing a grippy van at my door in the near future, "thank you grippy"

Why is it you discover you need new tyres after all the usual outlets are closed in the evening?
You search the web and all the local suppliers state phone for best price. The only prices available are from the National suppliers.
I gathered and compared the reference prices from the National suppliers shown on their web sites then compared the Grippy prices which were extremely competitive.
I took a chance and ordered them to be fitted at a convenient time at my home on Saturday. The fitter rang beforehand on the day as promised to confirm the exact time and turned up promptly within 45 mins - 2 tyres fitted!
I will definitely be using them again!

I just wanted to say how polite, knowledgeable, and efficient Liam (tyre fitter) was this morning. He also phoned me to let me know he was on his way.

I will be recommending Grippy to my company that has a small fleet of vehicles, in addition to my friends and family. It is a convenient service with prices lower than garages, providing an informed & wide choice of tyres.

The website is easy to navigate and lists a wide choice of tyres with information with respect to performance and fuel efficiency.

Only discovered this company whilst 'googling' to get a rough idea of how much to pay for two new tyres for my van. Decided on them because they were significantly cheaper than 3 other garages I rang in the local area. I had a problem with ordering on line (I am useless at I.T), Rang them up - absolutely first class and sorted. I chose my slot for 5-8pm today (4th Dec). Chap rang at 4.15, I think, to say he would arrive at 6; he arrived at one minute to 6. Asked the chap would he like a cup of T as it was quite cold, he said no thanks and very professionally, efficiently and quickly set about his work.
Think he was done in 15 minutes. I paid. What a cracking service from start to finish. And the icing on the cake for me was I did not have to ‘hang around’ in one of those awful garages where one get the feeling that asking for a service is an imposition!

After having 4 tyres fitted today I have already recommended these guys to a few people at work. The fitter Jay phoned to give arrival time and turned up and did a first class job in double quick time and was very friendly. I cant recommend these guys highly enough, no more sitting in cold waiting rooms waiting for tyres to be fitted when grippy can come to you at home or work for at least the same price.
will definitely be using again.

Having never heard of the company before we were obviously a little cautious about using them, however having ordered new tyres with them I would highly recommend this company to anyone! They managed to fit us in incredibly fast, and are very convenient as they come to either your home or work address. I had a slight issue with one of my tyres due to a fault with it sealing properly and had a slow leak, they came straight out to repair this and was totally free of charge. Couldn't fault them! Will defiantly continue to use them in future, thanks again grippy!

Andrew and Harry arrived on time and the work was carried out in a very professional and friendly manner. would highly recommend.

Great idea, they come to you, no waiting around in the cold outside a tyre centre, just select a day you'll be at home anyway & have them call.
The fitter will phone you to advise you of his expected arrival time.
Very efficent service, great guy, very helpful.
The only place to get your tyres from, I will use again for sure.

Make promises they cannot keep, managers who tell you that the customer is a liar, bribe you with a fiver to make a positive review, do not trust a word they say nor the level of positive reviews as they are bribed to be made... It is a tyre sales company that will do anything or say anything to get you to part with your cash. And then will not refund it. You will be left high and dry, no tyres, no cash and another promise of a fit tomorrow... Then you find out they have not even ordered your tyres and there is no chance of a fitting. Happy to leave you high and dry, no apologise and all the supposable managers do is try to argue with you and blame the customer as to grippys poor service. I dont think I have ever had a company that have failed to carry out a service blame the customer before. If they said that there was a week or more wait on tyres, you can make an informed choice about whether to use grippy or not then at least you can go to another company who could fulfil a promise. still no tyres, no refund and a full on row every phone call. They make out they listen and monitor all calls, but conviniently do not record any promises they make! The only person who has ever apologised is a phone answering service who sometimes answer the calls on behalf of Grippy when they do not answer. I finally decided to bite the bullet and use another company and they could fit the tyres the next day. Im sure if you are lucky enough to get a fitter then they will fit your tyres well but customer service at the office if things go wrong will leave a bitter taste in your mouth as well. If there was a no star option.... This would be it.

Why sit and wait for an hour in a cold dirty tyre fitting garage!

Booked 2 new tyres through Grippy Tyres via the website, just as the guys arrived to fit them I realised I didn't have the locking wheelnut key. The Grippy tyres team tried everything they could think of to undo the wheel but to no avail. Instead of being annoyed at the wasted journey or charging extra for a repeat visit, they just said when I managed to get a new key to call the office and they would pop back and fit them. True to their word a few days later they arrived with a smile on their face, balanced and fitted the new tyres with no fuss or mess. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the service, tyres and price.

Not only did they fit the tyes to my car where I'd left it but are DELIVERING MY KEYS BACK TO ME BY HAND , I can't speak highly enough of there service to me, each of there drivers/ fitters has always been happy and helpful with advice even to the point of explaining that my tyes were on the wrong way ?? Apparently they have to face a certain way ? You learn something every day don't you ,thanks again GRIPPY

The chap hadn't just fitted my tyres but had educated me on the general care of them.
My tyres were shocking to say the least. Excellent value. Superb service. And there was no messing around.

The driver had kept me really well informed about his whereabouts so I could plan my morning. He turned up exactly when he said.

I couldn't feel happier (and thankfully safer in my car.) I would recommend these guys, and when the time comes again I'll be going back to them for the next set of tyres.

I used the service for the first time today following the recommendation from a friend, I would just like to say I was very happy with every aspect of the service. It was very quick and easy to get exactly what I wanted and the customer service from both the phone advisor and the technician that came to do the work was excellent, I will happily recommend you to my friends and family.

Booked a slot between 8-12 whilst at work, fitter didn't call with a more specific time, as the email promised. I called them, got told the fitter was 10 mins away in traffic. 45 mins later still no show. I had to call again as leaving the office, and rebook for that afternoon at home.
Once the fitter arrived, service was brilliant, the fitter worked really quickly to get both tyres done in under 20 mins.
Price was good compared to other places, and still a better experience than sitting around in a cold waiting room for an age......

I used Grippy to come out to my place of work and replace the two front tyres on my Vectra during my lunch break. The fitter came when he said he would and did a swift job. I had questions to ask about the condition of my tyres and he was very knowledgable. He really didn't mind me asking lots of questions, not at all like other tyre companies I have used in the past. I will definitely use them again!
