Quirky but Great experience
Just returned home to Norfolk (UK) from our 60th Wedding Anniversary break in Warwickshire. It is the second time my wife & I have stayed at Grimscote Manor Hotel listed as 3 star. We would rate it at least as that ++. It is set in extensive wooded grounds near "Coleshill" & the first adventure is actually accessing the drive that is located on a dual carriageway, but it's well worth it!!! Once in the drive there are some VERY interesting & entertaining "projects" carried out by the proprietor (I won't spoil the experience by elaborating any further). The hotel is comfortable, clean & bright. Management & staff are extremely helpful, friendly & obliging. Our accomodation on both sojourns was excellent (we stayed in one of the "Superior" rooms). Food was of high quality & well prepared with flexibility in the menu choices. Warwickshire has some very good tourist attractions including National Trust locations. National Motorbike Museum, Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon etc. etc. Highly recommended for short breaks
