I've donated at the North York site and the staff are friendly and efficient. They did their best to make me feel comfortable.

Waste of time.
Waste of time.. blood pressure machine barley works. They're extremely rude and don't want to work. The bathrooms are dirty and never have soap. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.

I've been celibate for 6 years and the sexual act I engaged in before hand, I used protection. I started Grifols in August of 2024(scared at first because I'm not a fan of needles), and initially was told about the every 4 months blood sample testing. All of my test were negative for STD's. My 4th blood sample was taken in July and the results supposedly came back that an STD had been detected. I went in and spoke directly to the manager that team the facility because I'm still celibate and haven't had ANY bodily fluids exposed to me since my celibacy. Prior to me moving to Colorado, I've always been a firm believer of going to the doctors. The reasoning as to why all of a sudden this happened sounds ridiculous!!! I'm well aware of the testing facilities and I'm also aware of the practices that go along with it. I've spoken up about some treatment from a couple of employees prior to my visit, so as soon as I go on my day to donate, I can't sign in and was told by an employee(the same employee that there was an issue that I spoke up on) came in with a smug face telling me about this false STD result. I was asked to leave because I further let her know that her smugness basically was an irrelevant need at that time and that I don't and haven't had any sexual contact with anyone and that I wanted to withdrawal from the company. I honestly believe my results were fudged because there's not a logical/scientific evidence that would hold the accusations of an STD ,that in no way possible, I could have of I've maintained a clean bill of health and have been abstaining from ANY sexual activities.... It makes ya wonder. I love helping people to live, but the way these people have tried to tarnish my character, TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! NIKETIA W(DONOR) Grifols 145 S. Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood CO

Didn't receive compensation the receptionist entered me as an old client even though I booked as new. Messing everything up. Now after 2 weeks of donating Im yet to get compensation once. I asked again when I go in for each appointment. They are yet to contact me and each time I ask they say a date that is further away. They seem to just play games endlessly.
Criminal Negligence, Untrained Staff, Management Cover-up: Shut This Place Down
What happened to me was dangerous, humiliating, and psychologically disturbing. This is not a “bad day.” This is systemic malpractice.
At the end of my donation, blood and plasma began pouring from my arm — not a trickle, but soaking my clothes, pooling on the chair and the floor. I immediately flagged down a female tech. Her response? She laughed and said, “Oh, you leaking,” then froze, doing nothing. Zero urgency. Zero action. Zero training. She left, and minutes later, a so-called “trainer” showed up.... while blood is dripping onto the floor.
I showed him my actively bleeding arm, my ruined shirt, the blood on the floor. He did not care. Instead, he put on a fake “owner” act, calling the staff “my employees,” and tried to shut me up and intimidate me — not help, not treat, just suppress and deflect.
When he noticed I was recording with my phone, his whole act collapsed: he went pale and silent, fully aware he’d just destroyed any plausible deniability. This is a "trainer" who should never be within 100 feet of a medical environment.
It gets worse: The manager finally arrives — and immediately refuses to identify herself, hides her badge, won’t give a card, and tries to pull me away from the donor floor so no one will see or hear what happened.... WHILE I"M STILL BLEEDING.
Her excuse? “Everyone here is being trained — we learn on the job.” That’s not a reason; that’s an outright admission of unqualified, unlicensed staff handling live donors. She was more worried about optics and liability than the health and safety of a patient actively bleeding in her facility.
This is criminal negligence. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Their incompetence is so severe, it is dangerous to step inside. Grifols corporate, state health, and licensing authorities need to shut this center down and fire everyone involved before someone gets killed or maimed.
DO NOT GO HERE. REPORT THEM. DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION. THIS PLACE IS A THREAT TO PUBLIC SAFETY.
I’m extremely disappointed with the Grifols Whitby location
⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5**
I’m extremely disappointed with the Grifols Whitby location. As a plasma donor, I give not only my blood but also my time — sometimes hours — with the understanding that the compensation is a small token of appreciation for that effort. Unfortunately, this location consistently takes far too long to pay donors after their appointment.
It’s frustrating and disheartening to go through the entire donation process, only to wait endlessly for payment that should be prompt and automatic. This delay shows a lack of respect for the donors who make their business possible.
Grifols needs to improve its payment system urgently or risk losing the very people who are helping to save lives. We’re not just numbers — we deserve better treatment and timely compensation.
Would not recommend this location to new donors unless they fix their payment delays.
Mary
Mary is bright, thoughtful and very professional. I trust her to take care of me during the plasma process.
Grifols Plasma Donation in Royal Palm FL
The Royal Palm FL location is in serious need of new staff AND new mgmt. The tech drew a small vial for testing my blood, dropped an open gauze on the floor, and proceeded to pick it up and place it on my bleeding arm. She was still holding onto the needle when she bent over to pick up the gauze which forced it into an awkward position and the end result was a massive hematoma. I give mgmt less than 1 star for how they are handling the whole situation. RUN from this location!
