If landing in Heathrow
If landing in Heathrow, avoid this company. To get to the rental office you need to find a shuttle bus that goes only once an hour. Once you get to the office (abandoned Holiday Inn), expect a 45 minute waiting time as they try to upsell all kinds of "mandatory" add-ons. There is no way of getting in contact with the company except email with very unreliable response times. The phone number only has an automated message. When returning the car, you need to calculate at least two hours for transit in case you miss the first shuttle because of overly meticulous check-in. The transit itself was about 30 minutes while the shuttle stopped at all the hotels on the way. I recommend to pay a bit more and get better service with somebody else.

High deposit
I always enjoy renting from Green Motion Car and Van Rental but it is not always that I have a deposit of £1,600.-. So I had to put a hold on my rental with them.

I did not get the upgrades that were…
I did not get the upgrades that were part of my package. I had to go back to the office and complain. Only then was a new car assigned to me and I had to sign all the paper work again. It took a lot of time.

Inflated admin fee on wrongly issued fine
I was over sold insurance on a car that had dints all over it . The car was filthy dirty . Then I had 2 parking fine that were incorrectly issued and was still issued an inflated admin fee. There has been no correction on the matter or no correspondence back regarding it. Very disappointing and I will endeavour to escalate the matter with management

The initial hire was a little bit concerning as I was told that any scratches on the wheels would be severely dealt with. That said the actual car that we were given was brand new so in some ways this is understandable. The MG we hide was incredible, it was a hybrid and although the sales assistant pressured us a little bit the the upgrade was worth it in the end and did save us money on fuel.

Green motion insurance company useless
Green motion no problem all good however green motion offer for an extra cost an insurance so if you need to change/ cancel a booking you can do so. I made a mistake with my booking dates so wanted to change to a new date or cancel and re book and the insurance company green motion use to do this reject my request so I waste my money and time using this recommended insurance so to new customers avoid using this insurance it’s useless

Pick up was from a ver busy location so there was a queue and a delay. I was not in a particular hurry however, but I would imagine this can be an inconvenience to some customers. Staff were very helpful, particularly with upgrades. I have also mentioned before, that as a Premium Plus customer I do not understand the need to wait while the vehicle is inspected (albeit a fairly minor inspection) on return.

I have used services of Green motion Heathrow a number of times and can fairly say that I am a satisfied returning customer.
This rental experience was fairly good. Pickup was fast and convenient. Car was fairly clean. Fuel was not full tank so returning the same amount was difficult. I would prefer a full tank so that it is easy to fill full and return. Body and wind screen scratches were not accounted for in the pick up sheet and I had to show pictures and videos on my return. Staff was very polite and acceptable of the facts. Overall Good.
