Elise & Alex were a dream to work with & I can’t stop admiring their work. They designed & built a platform bed with the perfect amount of storage/ closet space underneath that aligned exactly to what I needed. Elise caught on to the level of involvement I wanted (higher than some folks would probably appreciate tbh) & worked with me nonstop to make sure everything was what I wanted. They’re personable, transparent, professional and skilled. You can’t ask for a better team!

I hired Elise and Alex to build custom closet shelves, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Each shelf had to be measured and built uniquely, and they handled it with incredible attention to detail. The final result is not only functional but absolutely beautiful. They included me in every step of the process, offering thoughtful recommendations that actually gave me more than I had imagined. Elise and Alex are not only skilled craftsmen but also genuinely kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality, personalized carpentry work!

Elise and Alex helped us with some issues with the paint / wall material in our bathroom that were delaminating. They were creative, quick and effective and were an absolute joy to work with, even when our building management made them jump through extra hoops. While they were on site they also offered solutions to other problems we were having - I hope to invite them back soon!

I hired Elise originally to help me design my daughter’s bedroom. She came up with such creative ideas, making the best use of our small space. And then Alex and her entirely built a lofted bed with storage for my 4-year old. She is so thrilled!! And so are we. Hiring them was the best decision, and they are also easy to work with and super friendly. Highly recommend hiring them for any customized carpentry jobs.

Hired green apple for a task that required a creative approach and they were able to come up with a unique idea to suit our needs. If you are looking for someone to problem solve and get the job done no matter what approach is necessary, this is the perfect team. Alex and Elise were also very respectful of our home and took extra steps to clean and insure the environment was clean

I had a wonderful experience with Green Apple Carpentry. First of all, Elise was very generous with her pre-visit consultation time. Then when she and Alex arrived, they did a fantastic job with both carpentry and random renovation projects. More than once they made suggestions that improved upon my original ideas. which was much appreciated. For instance, Elise made a suggestion about a simple way I could improve the appearance of an entryway closet, which I took after a few days after they left. And sure enough, she was right - it looks so much better!

Green Apple Carpentry far exceeded my expectations in making my FIL’s apt. handicapped accessible. They were punctual and highly efficient and professional, completing the project in one week w ease. They went above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect!! They were an absolute pleasure to work w. They were so thorough leaving no stone u turned and noticing potential hazards that I overlooked. Highly recommend!!

Working with Elise and team was great and the project turned out great. Let me start by saying I know nothing about carpentry, associated costs, etc so I was a bit apprenhensive about the whole project. But Elise took the time to explain everything to me, was creative with the design of the closet, listened to my feedback and needs, and was professional but down to earth the entire time. She was very responsive over all methods of communication. During the project they were able to reuse some of the existing materials and cleaned up everything afterwards which i was appreciative of as i have two pets. I could also tell they were perfectionists and were focused on doing everything as best they could.

Would definitely recommend Elise and team to anyone in NYC who is doing their first bit of work and needs a kind, understanding, and creative team to work with!

I hired Green Apple Carpentry to help me come up with a storage solution in my small studio apt. She designed and build wall to wall shelves and found a mirrored shower door that she removed handle from and mounted on opposite wall creating the illusion of a much bigger space!  Her design ideas and execution are genius and saved me so much money, but also transformed my space and gave me endless storage!

I had quirky project where I wanted to add a shelf for a closet that had inconsistent dimensions. Elise not did an amazing job, she made expert suggestions and helped me pick materials that didn't blow the budget. I ended up with a better outcome than I had ever imagined! She even helped me learn how to clean my windows. Great team, I highly recommend them for any carpentry needs.
