Wellies for tiny feet!

I used this company as my daughter is extremely small, and I had been struggling to find anywhere that sold wellies that would fit her tiny feet. Grass & Air sell wellies in an infant size 3!
I placed my order on 14/09/25, and I received the order 18/09/25. I was notified once the order had been dispatched, and was able to track the delivery.
The wellies have not yet been worn, but on initial inspection the quality appears to be adequate. As long as they keep my daughter's feet dry when she splashes in puddles she will love them.

TERRIBLE

I placed my order at the end of August and based on the information on the website i expected to be delivered in 5/7 work days. After 2 weeks i checked the status of the delivery and it was blocked because additional duties havn't been paid. Nobody told me it was necessary to pay it and it wasn't written on the website. I sent an email to their customer service but at the end they told me it was my responsibility to pay and even without telling me the amount they cancelled my order!

Ordered items not delivered, no refund

I ordered five items, a week later I randomly received a refund for 2 of the items and when I asked why they told me there were stock issues so they couldn't send them. I then received a package of just 1 item, so 2 of the items I still expected to receive and had paid for weren't there. I've had no communication from them to explain what's happening or whether I will be refunded.

The wellies are just poor quality

The wellies are just poor quality there are cheaper ones online which last so much longer. Holes around front and heel. Surely wellies should last a long time when we think of how quick toddler feet grow, 2 toddlers should be able to get a wear but not with these, and the colour changing raindrops is a gimmic - it stopped working pretty early on.

My daughter’s new colour changing…

My daughter’s new colour changing wellies don’t actually change colour when wet. (Still unused and in the original packaging) I messaged Grass & Air with no reply. I’m now stuck with these and I won’t be giving them to my daughter to use because she’s be disappointed and upset. Very poor quality and I won’t be buying from you again.

Problems with quality control

Ordered some wellies and socks for the upcoming winter. Dispatched and received very quickly.
Wellies and socks were damaged and wonky.
One Welly had a scuff mark that would reveal the lining so therefore not waterproof.
The socks were miss-shapen and the brand labels on wonky.

I emailed them to ask for a replacement. They sent out a replacement the same day and I received them the very next day.

The quality of the replacements were even worse.
One boot was missing the brand label at the front.
The socks were different shapes and sizes with one labels unpicked and resewn on wonky.

I've emailed again in a dilemma about wether to ask for another replacement or just get a refund because they are sturdy and look beautiful and are also a good sensory, creative boot for toddlers but for the price I want well made products.

There's clearly a problem with quality control.

I have given 2 stars for the service and quick dispatch and delivery. I will update accordingly depending on what happens next.

Keep promising to dispatch but doesnt dispatch the order...

Do not order! I have made an order on Monday before 1pm ( website states that if ordered before 1pm orders will be dispatched the same day), tuesday afternoon it was still not dispatched so I sent them a message via their website to enquire - no response. I then the same day around 4pm i sent them an email - no response again. On the third day (Wednesday) my order was still not dispatched, so around 10am i called them over the phone, the customer service lady assured me that my order is ready for dispatched and will be dispatched that day. At 3pm my order was still not dispatched so I called again. And again I was assured that the order will be dispatched that day (wednesday) and that I should reveibe my order the next day (thursday). I also explained that we are going away on Friday and that Thursday is the last day I can receive the order and if it wont be dispatched I would need to cancell it and order from somewhere else, but I was assured again that it will be dispatched and that I will receive my order on Thursday. Its 7pm now, grass and air is now closed since 5pm and my order is not yet dispatched. I am so upset because I ordered clothes for my son for our holidays, and if they were not planning to dispatch my order I could have just ordered from somewhere else( i asked them multiple times about it), but now its too late to do that and we will have to go for holidays without swim shorts and sandals for my son... honnestly the worst service i have ever expereinced.
P.S i will remove this review in the case my order will somehow magically arrive on time, but if its not removed it means it wasnt dispatched and I havent received it...

Scam company, please proceed with extreme caution or not at all

I bought wellies from my child and when they arrived, they were misshapen and not sturdy at all. I returned my item per their returns policy and did not hear back from this company. When I chased up, I was told that they were having problems with refunds and I should send my bank details to them. I was a bit concerned and emailed to ask if a transfer to my card would be possible instead of sending my bank details which is sensitive information. They got back to me to say that a refund would not be possible through bank transfer, card transfer or PayPal. I am in shock because I do not understand how else a refund can be processed. I intend to chase this issue because it is not just about the money now but the service that I have received so far is appalling.

Do not make purchases with this company. The wellies are not worth it and do not look as advertised.
