Well first it took a while to arrive, over a week. It was very expensive for the amount you get. I got a tomahawk and an A5 wagyu ribeye 1/2 inch thick, tomahawk(cowboy) was 32 ounces including the entire bone which must of been 1/4 of that weight at least, which is fine considering I have had a way better streak at my local butcher shop that was bigger, better and cheaper. As for the wagyu A5 ribeye, definately not worth the hype. Way to rich, and actually made me sick to my stomach(literally and physically). I will not be recommending and actually would air on the side of caution and will be warning others to stay away from these overpriced cuts of beef. Support your local butcher's instead of wasting your hard earned money here.

I simply placed an order online 3 days ago. They have charged my bank account for the purchase 325$.I have not received an email or tracking # or any correspondence. I've tried calling them for 2 days straight and all I get is asked to leave a message, which I have and still no one has reached out to me. I have a screen shot of my order confirmation on there web site,but my grandwestern account states I have not placed any orders. I am very upset! They have stolen my 325$ at this point and have not contacted me and I am unable to reach a representative when I call them. Buyer beware! Don't get suckered like me.

I would not recommend ordering any of the less popular cuts. I ordered flat iron steaks and the frozen date was 10 months prior! Obviously, the steaks are still fine to eat, but both flavor and texture begin to deteriorate after 4 months. The USDA recommends eating frozen steaks between 4 and 12 months after freezing and these arrived at the tail end of that!

Not sure what they sold me? It was not Waygu! My sister also purchased some Waygu a few months ago she just made it yesterday and was not Waygu! I know my Kobe/Waygu and this was not!. I wasted over $500.00 on this garbage I don't know how they have so many good reviews elsewhere? Real Waygu fat melts at room temperature in your hand. And has a unique flavor people pay a premium for! I don't know why they sold both of US it was again not the real thing!

I have ordered form GWS on a few occasions now and so far, everything has been great, arrived on time and frozen solid. I just placed another order by phone because I couldn't get my rewards to work online. The rep assisted me in applying by rewards amount and applied another coupon for 20% on my Filet Mignons I was not aware of. But best of all, after the order was placed, she called me back and said she had found there was a better price on my Filets and saved me more money. I love the Waygu A5 Filets. The Ribeyes are great too, but be prepared to share those, they are rich...

I ordered kobe beef. It was sent to me ground 2 days along with other items. It was not the size and quality I expected. I called, and sent it back the next day per instructions. I received it on a Tuesday and they received it back that Friday. I received a call informing me the steak had been received. Two weeks later I called about the status of my refund. I was told a request would be put in for the refund. I contacted them again 4 days later about my refund status and was asked for the tracking number. I was later told I could not get a refund because the steak arrived back to them spoiled and they know this because the size of the package on my shipping statement is smaller than the package they sent so it could not have contained dry ice and I sent it two day ground. I received 3 boxes in the container from them, which contained chicken and it was sent to me two day ground. I only sent back a 6-8oz steak with a smaller dry ice. During all of my previous communications with them, including the call stating they had received the steak, nothing was said about the steak being spoiled until after I kept requesting my refund. They have stopped communicating me and I am out of the $300 I paid for an 6-8oz steak I don't even have. I don't have $300 to give away and would have felt better if they would have at least offered me a credit or something.

Horrible service. Meat sent on the wrong day while we were on vacation. All the meat was spoiled and never received my money back or a re order, just a 50 percent reduction to resend the order. Essentially they asked me to pay 1 and a half times the prize for the original order.

The price for the food purchased is reasonable and the website is easy to navigate. Shipping was very fast and the steaks came in completely frozen and there was no damage or tampering to the box. The steaks were extremely flavorful and tender. My only thought is I ordered the half inch steaks and I should have ordered a thicker 1" steak because the 1/2 steaks did not look as appealing as a thicker steak but the steaks I ordered were very delicious.

OK. So Guga on youtube is a shill for these guys. But here's the reality. Yes, the meat is "tender." But far more importantly from my culinary perspective is that it is astonishingly, mind-blowingly tasteless. I don't understand how meat that is a)aged and b)that marbled can have so little flavor--to the point of being watery. In fact the tenderness at this point contributes to the feeling that you are eating something that is grown in a lab. Which given the feedlots this meat probably comes from is, my guess, not far from the truth.
Aside from that, they screwed up my first order...without anything resembling a real apology. It should be obvious that I won't be purchasing anything from these guys anymore. They've got a good scam going but what they are selling is not quality. It's advertising and a few well placed spokespeople.
