I paid $50 for real salep plus $25 VAT and when it arrived, it was clearly almost entirely starch. It thickens entirely too easily with cold milk - real salep only thickens when it is heated. I emailed them about it but they never responded. The only way real salep gets thick is from cooking. This stuff needs so little of it to make it thick it gives no flavor, and I had wanted it for the health benefits anyway. Scam.

I was looking for a specific treat to send to my daughter in law in Germany and finally found it on Grand Bazaarist. I ordered it from here in the U.S. and had it shipped to Germany and I have to say the entire process was without fault. The order arrived fast and in perfect condition. The communication from Grand Bazaarist was great including preparing me for paying customs duty on the items; and my daughter in law is delighted with her gift. I have no hesitation about ordering from here again.

Absolutely first class service from Grand Bazzarist. They managed to deliver high quality Turkish produce all the way to the Outer Hebrides, which is no small feat in itself.

The order arrived quickly and exactly as requested, well packed and in perfect condition. The produce was excellent quality, especially my favourite apple tea, which was authentic, fresh and every bit as good as I’d hoped.

I bought a coffee machine from them (Arcelik Arçelik TKM 9961 S Black Steel Double Turkish Coffee Machine, and unfortunately it has been a very disappointing experience. The machine started leaking water constantly, and sometimes it stops working completely.

I contacted customer support after max 10 days, but they told me I must return the machine at my own expense for repair. The total cost is over $100, which is completely unreasonable for a product that arrived faulty.

I believe a defective product should be repaired or replaced without putting the financial burden on the customer. Because of the poor quality and lack of proper customer support, I cannot recommend this product or this company
I need even to buy another machine.

I received the BEST customer services from this merchant. My package was delayed by the courier for no apparent reason and they took it upon themselves to help tack my package and the very next day my order was delivered!

I have to admit, one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in a long time. I ordered (#69191) cardamom seed since it is impossible to find it in Serbia unless you know someone who travels to Türkiye and bring it over. The site is really easy to surf, huge list of spices and teas and such and VERY fast and professional handling the order. The minimum charge is $30 so I had to add a pack of four soaps to reach the limit. The soaps were yet another mind-blowing kick as they remind me on my childhood. The carrier is FEDEX, and that is my only "glitch" and that is the ONLY one they offer (a bit expensive) since I was expecting the Turkish postal package. So, I went for it and I got my goods in a week. I HIGHLY recommend these people and I will order more in the future. Thank You GRANDBAZAARIST. Thumbs up!
