Initially, I had my doubts about whether this course suited me since I'm not a direct team manager. However, the tools provided proved to be extremely beneficial and applicable, regardless of being a direct leader or an influencer. I was pleasantly surprised by the results once I started applying these tools, and it has truly broadened my perspective on what's achievable.

We're a growing business set within a University and you totally grasped the essence of our challenges and opportunities in this hybrid environment. Thanks so much for running a brilliant workshop and giving us a sense of how we might progress the learning from it meaningfully. What a brilliant experience it was to work with Nick. My team and I spent 6 months working with Nick last year, as a newly formed leadership team and after a pretty turbulent year we were in need of guidance as to how best function as a team but importantly as a leadership team to deliver a clear strategy and purpose for our department and business.
Nick was most certainly the man for the job, I remember remarking after our first session that I'd never experience a session like that where I felt instantly understood and the content of the course was so tailored to our specific needs. He really really listens, even when you don't realise he is and provided the exact support and guidance we needed.
He is also really likeable, authentic and trustworthy. We really opened up as a team which we hadn't done before. We felt so much more aligned as a team, all on the same page with clear goals.
I was genuinely a little bit sad when the sessions came to an end!

A number of project managers from my company and I took part in a one-day training with Go Slow to Go Fast focusing on leadership skills. The session was very well guided by our coach, Nick, who brought in relevant expertise and gave us room to apply concepts hands-on. I particularly appreciated that he adjusted the session to align with our individual needs (e.g., being able to take client calls in between). I would 100% recommend Go Slow to Go Fast for other businesses, especially in a smaller, more intimate setting (ca. 6-10 people).

This course has been so helpful for my newest line manager in the team! I really saw a big transformation happening during the course. Besides taking a lot of hands-on tips away for day-to-day, she gained a lot of confidence to really step into the shoes of being a manager, leading her team and also dealing with less comfortable situations and conversations. Nick and Hazel are great facilitators and bring a lot of their own experience of managing businesses and people into this. I cannot recommend this course enough!

It’s more than a training course. It’s manager training and manager therapy all rolled into one. It’s incredibly refreshing to learn, practice and grow in this way. I feel honoured to have been part of a learning experience like this. The course is loaded with information and references you can keep coming back to. The thing I appreciated the most was the engaging and safe space during the weekly lives that Nick and Hazel created. I would recommend this course to any manager or leader, not just those that are new to the responsibilities.

This course offers you the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded new managers. In small groups, you are given great examples that you can apply directly in your work environment. Every question and situation is addressed with helpful tips. I got a lot out of this course and can only recommend it to every new manager. Thank you to Hazel & Nick!

Very skeptical to begin with wasn't sure this course was the right one for me not being a direct team manager, but the tools taught are invaluable and can be applied whether you are a direct team leader or an influencer. The level of care is very good. The course really makes you think about your role as a leader and gives you tools to make your team cohesive.
