Scam
Despite support replying that it will refund import taxes, which had to be paid by store(it is written in store, IOSS), since March they still didn't manage to refund. Do not recommend at all. Don't waste you time and money.
Waste of time and money
I pre-ordered two copies of their forthcoming album, wiht the understanding that they would at least ship on the release date (which was yesterday).
After shelling out for two copies of the album, plus shipping I have hear nothing but crickets. Meanwhile, Target has the album, local record stores have it, it is everywhere. Well, everywhere but in my mailbox.
I have sent emails asking if I could just cancel and get a refund. No response.
In future I will remember that I should just wait, and buy their albums directly from a retailer--save on shipping and get it sooner!
EU import taxes alert
They claim to have an international shipping agreement for EU customers (IOSS) and you can pay taxes just when ordering but that is not true. I paid 60 euros for a hoodie+20 euros for shipping (and taxes, according to them) to Italy. Then I got charged 30 euros from the Italian Customs. If you are in EU, avoid buying from them unless you are prepared to overpay any item.

I recently paid £50 for a Gorillaz hoodie for my daughter’s birthday. I am very disappointed with the quality. I thought it would be fleecy, thick and warm after paying that sort of money but it’s just a standard mediocre hoodie. I won’t be purchasing anything from their official website again. There are so many competitors , go puff, jiffy, getir, weezy….. some offer no small order fee and regular promo codes which sadly Gorrilaz does not anymore. They also used to send free items/ gifts; this no longer happens. Customer service take hours if not days to respond to issues& there is no direct number for Gorillaz.

I see I’m not alone with the bad experience. Makes me feel better lol. Annoying app keeps rejecting my payments and labelling it as fraud. Ridiculous. Customer service is a joke they don’t even reply. One replied hours later. Imagine you really needed something last minute. When the app did work it was good and quick delivery if im fair.

I would give no stars if I could, customer service are dreadful and don’t even answer the questions you ask. Don’t understand why they are so dreadful. Would never order from them again. Avoid them.

And +30 minutes from the chat bot “I will send you to one of our agents as soon as possible”… to delivery.. we cancelled the order after 20+ minutes without answer and they still just delivered it in front of the door..

Couldn’t deliver item after keeping money for months
Took my money to fund the production of a toy range. And were unable to deliver the product. Waited six months with radio silence and then received a refund. Shambolic order tracking (none existent) Asked if they could do anything for me and they said ‘sorry, you can order it again’ ??

Stole my money
I ordered Noodle and Russel’s cassette tapes, and their 2021 calendar in October 2020. It’s now the end of March 2021 and they haven’t even shipped, and when I pull up my order it doesn’t exist. They also won’t refund my order, and told my credit card that it was a valid transaction.
Appalling service and no merch received
Ordered 2 t-shirts in December to coincide with the 'songkick' release, still not received them. Have had multiple emails from the original supplier and also Warner music, none have been helpful and they are essentially denying any responsibility. I have now processed a refund via my bank (you have 120 days from the initial payment to do this). Very disappointing that such a global brand can have such an awful supplier for their merchandise.
Bad and unpleasant experience.
I bought the new CD and the new calendar on January 30th.
Its been 16 days and I haven't gotten any message of sorts. Plus no information as to the arriving of my parcel. I have tried to contact them multiple times, yet to my dismay have gotten no reply. On the "Recent orders tap," it says " Order complete". Yet I still haven't gotten anything. I'm very disappointed with the official store. I expect them to do better. They should not charge 10 pounds for Shipping & Handling, that is outrageous.
Overall, do not buy for them if you find it at a better place.
Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service - I made an approx £80 order of (Song Machine) in November for my son well in time for Christmas. It should have consisted of two parts: a book and a vinyl set. I received two books instead. I returned the one book (at great expense) sent a message to ask for the correct second part, but never got a response. Have sent a message since but I feel as if I'm going to be chasing this for ever. There is no number to call either
