I wanted to buy UHU but the shop didn't have it and Gorilla Glue contact adhesive looked like a suitable alternative. I was a bit expensive - £10 for a tube. Tried to use it to glue some pieces of car... See more

I bought some gorilla instant grab adhesive (£11!) to put up 2 very small wooden batons (20 cms long) for a shelf within a small cupboard. There was nothing 'instant' or 'grabbing' about this glue and... See more

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. I purchased 2 products before Christmas that were faulty or as the customer service agent stated "had expired". Like most people I do not keep receipts for small purchases, the absence of a receipt meant my honesty and integrity were being questioned by the customer service representative. They refused to exchange.

I hung my blinds which the tape said hangs up to 12kg and my blinds were lightweight and after a few hours the blinds fell off the window! I paid £10 for this tape. False advertising and what it says on the packaging is lies it hold nothing so unfair as I couldn’t afford to pay £10 in the first place as we can’t drill holes as it’s a rented house

I purchased gorilla glue contact…

I purchased gorilla glue contact adhesive which clearly stated on the tube was suitable for plastics, I followed all instructions to the letter.

The glue was completely useless, on contacting gorilla glue customer service they gave me new instructions with a long list of photographic evidence requirements which I promptly provided.
They were still adamant that the problem was me and not their shoddy product so I asked to be dealt with by the ladies supervisor, a lady named Kim responded.
She in turn provided no help or refund.
I highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying Gorilla glue to not and try a cheaper alternative as the after care and customer support of this company is appalling.

Horrible and Un-usable!

Horrible! Turns immediately to a hard un-usable solid after opening. There is no way to use it or soften it once it hardens. And, their customer service (Christopher) is a mess. Not recommended!

Gorilla Super Glue isn't so super.

Gorilla Super Glue isn't so super.
Premium price for one-half ounce of product. and you may get one-third of that out of the bottle before it hardens and needs thrown away. This has happened with the last three bottles I have bought. I guess what I have read and heard that their bottles are porous intentionally to cause hardening in the bottle is true.

Recently this product won't even glue paper together!

Does not stick to anything but your fingers. Two bottles, purchased at different times. Both thick and less than the line marked on the bottle. Trying to build a Dumas radio control boat. The Gorilla super glue was a big waste of money and my time.

Suggest leaving E off the name

Heard great things of Gorilla glue so tried Epoxy two part. I realise now that its called Gorilla because only they have the strength to open the pack. Instructions say snap off the mixer tool and the syringe cap - could not do either without pliers - and the cap would not fit over syringe ends for storage when I had finished. You also need Gorilla strength to push the plunger and there is no way I could get the glue and hardener to come out evenly. Worst of all, despite having followed instructions to the letter, the blessed stuff does not work. Another nine quid down the drain. My advice is to stick (no pun intended) with Araldite - a proven product that has stood the test of time.

Only gave this product one star

Only gave this product one star, because i couldn't give it Zero. Absolutely rubbish. 💯 I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it. Expensive to buy and doesn't do its job. Cheaper ones are much better.
I wish I'd read the reveies before buying.

2 part epoxy glue terrible product do not buy

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased the product. It simply does not work.I had araldite two part epoxy resin before and thought Gorilla with the big name they have would have produced a better product but it is a terrible glue. When you mix the epoxy in equal parts it just does not harden as it should have hence no adhesive effect. Gorilla if reading these reviews should re compensate all the customers whom they sold such rubbish product.
nevertheless no Gorilla products for me in future.

It's all hype

It's all hype I found krazy glue to do a better job. I will never buy this brand. Kid decide to glue his mettle car to the washing machine(yah I know its crazy) So I helped him with it. Few washes later it came apart so I glued it back and it came apart again (yes I prepped the surface before gluing) .so I want back to good old Krazy glue and the lil car is still glued to the washer.

Worst super glue

I used to use Gorilla Glue Super Glue all the time for miniature modelling and it worked amazingly well compared to other brands….but not anymore! It doesn’t work. I’m moving back to Loctite super glue which works better, faster and is cheaper!

Incredibly tough!

I recently purchased some Original Gorilla Glue. It is has an incredibly strong bond and it is 100% waterproof which makes it great for projects that involve a lot of water exposure. Additionally, after it is fully cured, the glue expands three times to ensure every crack and gap is filled. I have used Gorilla Glue for my toughest projects and they have always held like a steel bond. Highly recommend Gorilla Glue!

Dried up before I even used it

Had bought Gorilla Glue Brush and Nozzle which had been sitting in a draw for the past year ready for the next thing to get broken. Today I opened it and found it is completely dry before I even used it once! Waste of money.
