RUN! Run and dont look back!
In 2015 Gorilla Builders contracted with us to do a design-build renovation, with an 'approximate' 1 year project duration. It is December of 2025, and they are still not done. They have failed code inspections, failed to follow their own plans, and have had to re-do a lot of their work. They now send 1 guy, 2 days a week for about 4 hours a day to keep the ROC from declaring them as having abandon the job. I have been lied to directly by their owner, and he is not a decent person. At least 2 of his previous clients have taken him to mediation and as I have surmised, won multi-hundred thousand dollar judgments against him. I would only use him if I had an independent 3rd party inspector doing construction inspections, and had liquidated damages in the contract.
