I hope this review open your eyes…

I hope this review open your eyes before you buy anything with this company. We bought a new house we called this company to make us the transfer of the solar panels to the new house and oh surprise that this is not included in the contract,.When the seller who came to our house told us that the panels could move with us to any other place and it was included in the contract without an extra payment. Well, everything is a lie.all the promises they give you to buy this are lies. I know it was a mistake of mine not reading the contrac well before signing but you trust the word of these sellers.

We are trying to close on our home

We are trying to close on our home, and the title company has not received the loan transfer documents from Goodleap. Upon calling customer service, they refer us to their "assumptions at goodleap." Well, that does not seem to be working either. It is a very bad start to a home purchase with solar panels financed by this company with poor customer service. See the undelivered response in the email: "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups."

Goodleap harassment

Goodleap kept calling and harassing me.i called them and asked for them to remove mynumber and they kept asking for personal information (name, address, etc). I said you can look me up by my phone number you keep calling. They said they had no way until i threatened to report them to the BBB. Person on the phone immediately changed her attitude and said she'd remove me. I still reported them

This company is underhanded

This company is underhanded. I secured a roof loan that I planned to payoff in four months. At the end of four months of payments, my payoff figure was higher than original loan! When I questioned this, they stated that beginning payments are applied to interest NO PRINCIPAL! I was never told that or ever took a loan where some of the payment was not applied to principal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Please stay away from this finance…

Please stay away from this finance company called Good leap. This is the most untrustworthy financial company I have ever encountered. The agreement said I have 2 months Grace period before starting my first payment on my new furnace they financed($6200.10) for 15 years. The principal and interest each month was 79.37 if I set up a direct deposit. On my first payment , I make the direct deposit exactly as the agreement said (79.37). Surprised!!! My first and second direct deposits were their interest only, not even $1 for the principal. On the 3rd month I paid extra $50+monthly payment(129.37), surprised again the interest out of it was $109.72 and only 19.65 for the principal, and my balance became $6180.45 after 3 payments. Meaning the $50 extra I paid on the due date was taken as interest. I called the customer service but wasn’t able to get any meaningful explanations Anytime I paid extra money towards my balance they always took part of it as interest. They don’t want you to finish your payments early and be free from debt !!!! Please stay away from them!!!!!!

We recently had Renewal by Anderson…

We recently had Renewal by Anderson install our Ensemble Entry Door and our Kitchen window .
This time we financed through GoodLeap .
They offer no payments for 18 months ( 0% interest for 18 months ) . I would recommend you take advantage of the 18 months 0% interest and start making payments immediately and try to pay off your loan before the 18 months expire . That my plan .
Otherwise the loan process was easy .

I needed a loan for a major plumbing…

I needed a loan for a major plumbing repair. I was given an 18 month interest free loan and an automatic payment was set on the 5th of every month. That payment amount was not sufficient to pay off the loan in 18 months so I was guaranteed that I could make additional payments between the 15th and 25th of the month. This did not work. Again I was told to make the payment during that time and it would not impact the auto pay. The last customer service agent then told me I had to pay the additional payment immediately after the 5th. When I spoke with a supervisor I was told despite the fact that their representatives informed me incorrectly there was nothing that could be done on their end. Seems to me they are making it difficult for me to pay off the loan within the 18 months so that they can receive the huge interest amount. Even if I have to sell a kidney I will pay off the loan and I will sing from the mountain tops to steer clear of this loan agency. Customers beware! I think they deserve less than 1 star.

Loan sharks

Loan sharks. Liars and thieves!
I’m dealing with my deceased mother’s estate. She had a plumbing loan via GoodLeap for $19k. I went through my mom’s payment history to GoodLeap, she paid them a total of $15k. So one would think the balance is something close $4k plus interest.

As the executor of her estate, I contacted GoodLeap within 2 weeks of her passing to inform them that I needed a payoff amount and would be paying off the remaining balance in full as soon as possible when the estate account was set up and that her auto payments were stopped due to her regular bank account closure. Standard stuff.
I sent them a formal request in writing, via email and by phone. I gave them a copy of the death certificate by email and with the letter requesting the payoff amount. They ignored those letters/ emails. All sent via certified mail, signature required.

They neglected to tell me that they would change the daily interest rate due to ONE “missed” payment while the estate account was being set up, and refused to give me a payoff amount in writing. Highly illegal on their part but laws and standards mean nothing to this scam company.

I paid them the amount I was quoted over the phone ($24k) evidently this payoff amount was incorrect.
They put an UCC lien on my mother’s property after I paid them $24k. It’s still not lifted 8 months later.
They have demanded an additional payment of $2,500 to close the account and lift the lien. I paid it even though I know it’s incorrect. I just want to be done with this.
Then they demanded $23.76 the next month. I paid it.
I kid you not, now they are demanding TWO CENTS! Yes, TWO PENNIES!
They’re just dragging this out because they can.
I mailed them a certified letter with two pennies taped to it, signature required. Every letter/ payment has been sent via certified mail, signature required because they lie!
The 3rd “payoff” I sent the day it was requested 12/15/25 and it was received by them on 12/18/25 (due date was 12/31/25) but they didn’t deposit it until January 8 or 9, 2026. They claimed the payment was LATE because they chose to sit on it for weeks! That’s not how payments work, the date received is the date it’s processed, not the date they decide to get around to depositing it.

They have called both myself and my husband every weekday Monday- Friday harassing us for money. They sent letters in the name of my dead mother every week demanding more money. They sent employees to my home on 4 occasions to hand deliver the same letters they sent via usps on the weekend. This level of harassment that has so far dragged on for EIGHT months is unacceptable and more importantly illegal.
At this point GoodLeap has been paid in excess of $40,000 USD on a $19,000 loan and they refuse to close the account and lift the lien on the property.

Stay away from this company and advise your family and friends to do the same. They are scammers. They are unprofessional, the extreme level of harassment I’ve endured for the past 8 months is unacceptable and I will not stop shouting from the rooftops what a nightmare this has been.
When you hear the name GoodLeap, think LIARS, SCAMMERS, THIEVES, and NON-STOP HARASSMENT via phone, mail and at your doorstep even when you’re not and never will be a customer of theirs.

GoodLeap, the perfect helping hand

GoodLeap made it simple. I needed a new furnace in the middle of winter. They approved the loan. Paperwork was simple enough. They called me back making sure everything was done correctly during installation. That I was satisfied. They assisted me in paying off my loan at a lower interest rate than the original. I would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance.
