Not Good For Me
I am sharing a story to help other customers decide whether to trust this company.
I signed up and chose a subscription that I was happy with, and I happily paid via PayPal every time. This payment was taken automatically, which means I never had to think about it, which is how I pay other companies regularly.
The bank card I had on my PayPal account ran out on December 24, so I added my new one to continue paying via PayPal. For some reason, there was also another change: I started getting emails from PayPal to approve monthly payments.
In March this year, I received a letter from a debt company that Good For Me had sold the debt to. This was the first I had heard of this debt.
Wanting to resolve this as quickly as possible, I went back through my PayPal account and saw the Jan and Mar payments were outstanding from this year as I had missed the email from PayPal. Admittedly, it was my fault, so I quickly approved these. However, on the letter, there was also an outstanding balance from October.
I went through my PayPal account and saw a payment made in October that came out of my account automatically. I went back to the company and asked them directly about this, and they sent me an email saying I didn't owe anything else. Great, I thought. However, the debt agency was still chasing this bogus Oct debt.
I did manage to get the January payment taken off the debt. I repeatedly had to contact the debt agency, who told me to stop contacting them when all I was trying to do was to sort this mess out, as no one else was.
When I looked at my PayPal payments for October, I could see that there were two invoices; however, one failed for whatever reason, and then the 2nd one on the same day was paid as per the subscription. I have sent screenshots, etc to support all of this; however, despite repeatedly sending this and the email from Good for Me to say I didn't owe anything, I was concerned that I would get penalised by the debt agency, so in the end I relented and paid the fee, which by now was £148.11 (over double the subscription fee).
Since then, I've contacted Good For Me to ask why I had two invoices in October. No one has come back to me to answer this. I believe there was a system error, and I am the one who has paid for this.
My advice is
Don't sign up for a subscription
If you do get a letter from Debtist. Make sure it's correct and fight for anything incorrect, even if they tell you to stop emailing.
Good For Me. Before going to a debt agency, you need to review how you contact customers about outstanding payments. Help customers rectify mistakes before taking such heavy action.
Good For Me. Improve your customer service. It's a joke at the moment. I have worked in various senior customer service roles and would be ashamed of your current lack of service. Your service reflects your brand, and they currently don't match.
Update 17/4/2025
Finally, I received an email saying the invoice they were looking at was for November. I have checked my PayPal account, and I was never invoiced.
Their invoicing system is a bit sketchy, and I incurred extra costs due to their error. I've requested a refund and hope they reimburse me for the extra costs, as it was their mistake. Will keep you updated.

Well it gets worse so you asked me to contact you and it’s been 2 and a half weeks and what a surprise no response what so ever so much for your customer service and saying we always respond and there is always communication!! Maybe you should practice what you preach and communicate with your customers and to send me a bill from over 6 months ago for a delivery I never received or asked for ,and I’ve given proof we were out off the country and no delivery note or ring doorbell footage even exists because it didn’t happen no delivery was made !! You say it did show me proof and where did the delivery go to then not to my house or to me , and why has this taken you over 6 months to contact me about shocking service and harassing behaviour

BEWARE SCAM! Same issue has happened to me
Same issue has happened to me. This is SCAM!!! . Whilst they claim you’ve not read the conditions. This has been done on purpose. They do not warn you about a subscription which is £45. I have reported to financial regulation authorities to be investigated. BUYERS BEWARE. This is appalling. I will leaving reviews in every outlet that promotes or sells their products. I dare you to send me debt collection letters…. I don’t even have an email to confirm my subscription so how on earth do I cancel it. A disgrace

I made a one-time purchase and was not satisfied. At the time, I didn’t know I had signed up for a subscription until I received multiple payment demands on PayPal, which is unprofessional. After that, I also received numerous emails from debt collection agencies. An unprofessional company that I would never recommend. There are other, more reputable companies with better products.

A scam of a company! Stay away, and by it cheaper at Normal!
A scam of a company the value of the package is not even nearly what they tell you. In addition when you sign off from the subscription you get 6(!!!) different emails about reviews, how sad they are and so on.
