Have supports checked periodically
I’ve been a client of the Good Feet Store in Tyler since February 2025, the ladies up there sure know their stuff. I went in yesterday after cheating on them ( says Kasi) after shopping on the internet and wondering why my foot started to have discomfort again after wearing my supports for over a year pain free. Kasi and Amber helped me understand that my arch has changed since wearing supports and I needed a new evaluation due to havian arch now where i was flat footed before. Back to cheating…. I ordered a pair of shoes off internet that claimed to rid PF . Super soft, meshy lightweight without wearing supports. I wore them for three days and woundnup back at the Good Feet Store. The girls explained the shoes didn’t offer the support i needed to my feet and this is why the pain started again. Amber remeasured and fit me with different supports since i have a hi arch now and all this was covered under my initial purchase. They both explained its common to have your supports checked every six months to assure your still on the right track. After getting some grief from Kasi, not really she’s sweet, i had new supports in my work boots and shoes and left there again feeling so much better. The pain stopped within half hour of walking on my new supports, no more cheating on the girls i now will call with any questions or concerns about my feet and limit my time on the internet.
