I purchased a Go Smart mobile phone…
I purchased a Go Smart mobile phone from Go Groupie at £49. So cheap I could not believe it would work, It does.It does have some strange attitudes and defaults that irritate me. Also, I cannot update the os, which I think would resolve many it not all of the irritating issues. Also, not full manual is available or at least I can't find one. I am phoning them on 611.

Terrible company, terrible service. They charge €14.99 to activate the service, and after 3 days I had to switch companies because they say unlimited 5G, but it's actually garbage. Poor coverage, slow, with data limits... I tell them the logical thing would be for them to refund me what they charged me because I actually requested to cancel the contract within 14 days of canceling, and they don't want to refund me anything... They make almost €15 for nothing... thieves.

Avoid them at all cost. This completely is one big scam. Ive read other reviews and its exactly what happened to me. I got scammed into a contract. Was told i was signing something else, turned out they put me on a plan, which im now stuck with and cant terminate without paying a ridiculous penalty. 30 euros a month is ridiculous! I didn’t even receive a copy of the contract and i didn’t get a single bill, until one day they turned off my number so i went to check what happened and they tell me that i am on a contract.

This company is absolute nightmare! I am maltese….I advise to look to other service providers, much better customer services and no high shitty costly fee, for a basic service.
I have been charged 100euros to cut a mobile data contract, absulate shame on this company, and had to wait till the second year of service, or else if I cut the contract before the 1st year of service need to pay double 200euros.
Horrific, else this people think they have the power in there hands, costly fees for a bunch of crappy service.
Think before going with GO company, look elsewhere, not good to buy their services, costly fees for nothing 20.77euros monthly I had to pay for mobile data usage contract. I had to pay till I ended the service, with a 100 euro fee frustrating as hell!!!

I've had an extremely frustrating experience with GO Mobile and would caution anyone considering their service. I terminated my contract in May, yet am still facing issues with unexplained charges and a lack of transparency.
Here’s my story: In June, I traveled to Switzerland and was charged €74.98 for one day of data roaming, despite minimal or no internet use (my messages weren’t even delivering). I was surprised by this charge, as €74.98 for one day of roaming seems excessive, especially when I was barely using any data. They attributed this charge to background apps allegedly using mobile data, but I found this explanation unconvincing given my usage.
When I requested a clear breakdown of these charges, GO Mobile’s response was evasive. They repeatedly directed me to check the “itemization” in my online account. When I checked, according to my itemization document I only used 50 KB. they said Swisscom charges €14.91 per MB, so based on this usage, I should be charged approximately €0.73, not the outrageous fee they presented. Customer service refused to provide a detailed report or even confirm the data usage in any meaningful way. To make matters worse, I never received a message warning me that I was approaching or exceeding any data usage limit—something I would expect given the high charges. After over five months of back-and-forth, GO Mobile suddenly claimed the case was resolved—without actually addressing my questions.
On top of that, customer service often left me feeling dismissed. When I pressed for more information, they would close the conversation before I finished speaking, ignoring unresolved questions. It seemed as though they were avoiding my inquiries rather than genuinely helping. Additionally, I was originally told I’d receive a €15.99 refund after paying my final bill, only to be told later that this amount had been absorbed by the roaming charges. The refund amount and the handling of this refund kept changing from one representative to another, adding to my confusion.
Ultimately, this lack of clarity, inconsistent information, and dismissive customer service made it hard to trust their billing practices. If you’re looking for a transparent provider, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Until GO Mobile improves its customer service, billing transparency, and data usage notifications, I can’t recommend them.

They are terrible, always charge you more than you expect without any explanation! Live chat is like insane! They even do not know what to say.

This is by far the worst mobile company…
This is by far the worst mobile company I have ever encountered. In just two years, I have experienced the following:
1. They abruptly canceled my account without any prior notice. To make matters worse, they continued to charge me, and I ended up having to pay 200 euros for services I didn't receive.
2. I ordered a 1GB internet package for my place, but they only installed half of it after a two-week delay. When I contacted their customer support to inquire about the issue, they tried to convince me that it was my mistake. Fortunately, I had saved the previous chat as evidence. They won't be able to manipulate me, those manipulative bastar**!
3. They promised an easy voucher scheme, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. This person named Jatzy made me wait for two weeks, assuring me every day that I would receive the voucher within the next 24 hours. Guess what? I never received it.
4. If you ever need assistance from their support, be prepared to literally beg for someone to even acknowledge your problem. They will do everything in their power to close your ticket as quickly as possible and show no concern whatsoever for resolving your issue. It's incredibly frustrating.
Overall, this mobile company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I have no words for this except…
I went to GO’s store in Paula to deliver my modem (SIM card) back and cancel it because they just installed fibre. Instead the employee (employee of the month I would say - irony may appear) cancels our newly installed fibre.
Not to forget - we waited outside the shop for 2 freaking hours just to give the modem back.
What a service!!!!

Good Samaritan in Sidmouth!
Been having a problem with accessing mobile data since phone upgrade (bought elsewhere), saw GoMobile shop in Sidmouth and asked for help. Ben identified the problem almost immediately (settings hadn't been updated with new sim) and patiently corrected the error, despite me not being a customer (travelling through on holiday). Phone is now working as it should, thanks to him. He was helpful, polite and is an asset to his employers. Thank you Ben - you're a star!
Brilliant service at Helston
For the last several years I have gone directly to EE for any contract changes, but finding myself on a SIM only contract with a broken phone I thought I would see if Go Mobile could help me. Ian was incredibly helpful straight away, got me on a self employed contract, which I didn't even know was a thing, and a lovely new phone. He was supportive and friendly throughout, even staying in contact on days off to make sure the paperwork all went through. When I went in the shop, the guy in there helped me choose the best phone and transferred everything for me, making it a completely painfree process. I'm now going to see if they can get my partner a better deal, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing mobile info or help. A really personal service at a time when that is a rare thing to find.
