Bought a power bank after reading about Gomi on social media. I love their mission & product choices. It arrived within the time frame promised, and I appreciated the minimal & recyclable packaging. Size is convenient - I do wish it weighed a little less. Will order again.

Love my new Power Bank. Distinctive Design and four real screws (not obscure security screws) to allow it to be taken apart for repair. Mine is the UK assembled version and it seems to support all the common fast charging protocols including USB-PD and Quick Charge. Surprisingly it also supports VOOC fast charging, which my obscure phone loves, and is almost never supported by 3rd party products. Well done gomi.

I bought a powerbank from Gomi as their philosophy of recycling materials to make the powerbanks is great. With that the powerbanks are stylish and work so well. I bought mine for our family holiday and has been invaluable providing enoigh recharging for all of us to keep is glong throughout the day

I've had a gomi power bank for a little while now and I absolutely love it! Everything form the philosophy behind the product, to the look and use. I've taken it with me on every adventure, from train commutes to long hikes.
I'm trying to be a more conscious consumer and put in more thought into what I'm purchasing, gomi ticked all the boxes for me: sustainable, repairable, and well, pleasing to look at :D

This is the most beautiful power bank from a wonderful young company whose ethics are admirable! The products are a joy to use plus I am useless on most technical stuff but they were helpful and patient. I now have a colourful trendy power bank and I feel quite chuffed - do buy from this fabulous company. I also recommend the cable as it’s good looking and I can tell it will last much longer than the plastic white one that came with my mobile! I also bought their cases. Delighted customer. So chuffed I bought one for my son in law :)

In my opinion, the product might get four stars, but I feel my overall experience was less. I bought a power bank and went for the £59 version. When it arrived, I was surprised to find that it was made in China, given my experience of the website. I contacted Gomi and they promptly replied with the explanation. This lifted my 2-star experience to 3-star. In between my email and Gomi's reply, I had paid a fourth visit to the website and found a small drop-down box explaining that my unit was made overseas. From my understanding, following their email, it seems that a significant amount of the unit manufacturing is abroad for all power banks. The £79 versions have covers made and added in the UK. I still appreciate the recycled,repurposed and repairable nature of the units, and that they replied, so have gone for 3-stars, overall.

I love my beautiful Gomi power bank and power lead. They’re well made and sustainable. The customer service is good too. My lead developed a rare fault and it was very swiftly replaced.

Bought one of the one-off power banks made from leftover plastic. It is expensive but handmade and sustainable - reusing materials and being repairable. Arrived promptly fully charged. Charged my Fairphone quickly and still plenty juice left. A little heavy but so beautiful and hopefully my first and only power bank for a long time to come.

I was bought this fab little speaker as a surprise gift Christmas 2024. I love the start up sound; it shows what this speaker is capable of- another happy user describes it "as if a thousand exploding suns are ready to go off" and I think that's pretty close! I love that this speaker is 'upcycling' at it's best- otherwise un-recyclable plastics (in a very cool swirl design) and repurposed e-bike batteries align with my ethics perfectly. I can't comment on how this speaker would work in stereo with another speaker, but the sound fills the room I've been listening in.

Received a power bank in my Christmas stocking - beautifully wrapped in attractive box, plain paper and string (nice long piece that I can re-use) fantastic looking device that does what it says. Live near Brighton so it's great to own something so well designed which was made locally.

I've known of Gomi for a few years and I've always liked what they do. I'm a happy owner of 3 power banks. They are very handy. I'd say they'll charge a smart phone twice and tgry themselves charge quite quickly themselves. Why 3? Because you never know if you're in need a bit of juice. Gomi have some good ideas. I'm happy to support the environment and a local company. I'm based in Kent.

I’m so impressed with my new power bank. It arrived charged up and immediately charged two iphones and an ipad fully during a 20 hour power cut.
I love the sustainability ethics of the company; reducing waste and combating built-in obsolescence by repurposing, reusing, recycling. On top of this my new Gomi power bank is really beautiful, compact and stylish.
Refreshing to see a company making such a positive impact with a brilliant product.

My first encounters with gomi were not encouraging. I’d ordered a translucent charger and then heard nothing from them for almost 2 weeks. Email to customer service went unanswered for several days and I was starting to think I’d fallen for a too good to be true scam, something I could ill afford.

I’m not keen on complaining publicly over social media. I didn’t want what could be a one off oversight to tarnish the reputation of a company, especially when it’s a small independent start up but as I’d given them an opportunity to address the issue which had been ignored, I didn’t feel I had many other options open to me.

Within a few minutes of posting, I had contact from gomi apologising profusely and offering me a free upgrade to their patterned charger instead. I accepted this and removed my post from their FB page.

The photos don’t do the chargers justice. The ultraviolet charger is a mini work of beauty. It’s also very tactile and well made. It lives up to its billing as a premium product.

The charger works well, it has a cable with it which is helpful and I’m very happy with my purchase.

However, I do think that gomi do need to address the gaps in communication and customer care - I note another reviewer had similar issues. I do appreciate that it’s a small company and are probably processing more orders than envisaged, but clear and timely communication with customers is a fundamental element of business especially when offering something different to the norm at a premium price. Beautiful functional and sustainable products and slick advertising still need customer service that works

I signed up for their newsletter because it looked like an interesting company.
Since that day I've had daily spam from them. When I complained they apologised.
The very next day MORE SPAM.

A good product but delivery took longer than initially stated. Customer service very slow to reply. I know it is hard with start ups but at this pricepoint some communication is needed for customers post purchase

Bought for Christmas presents. Arrived swiftly after an email exchange. I think they look great, I hope the recipients agree
