I like the way your socks are high enough to cover my legs so no skin shows when I sit and cross them. What I don’t like is the foot sizing. They are too large and I can’t find a smaller size. Can you help?

I bought the six pack of Gold Toe grey/black socks about a week ago at the Coast Guard exchange in Virginia. When I tried on the new black pair this week for the first time I was shocked to find a large hole in one sock (see photo). The other socks appear to be ok but this one has that glaring hole on the instep area. Not Good! Been a Gold Toe purchaser for decades and this is a first!

The quality is gone. bought six pairs in a package.
Honestly. they only lasted a month. All of them got holes in the bottom of the heals.
Never again..They only lasted a month.
How do you sell a product that only last a month?
Socks suppose to last a little bit longer.

I have been a Gold Toe customer for at least 20 years. Their quality is gone. I tried to contact Gold Toe customer service once a week for 2 months and they still have not returned my call. Time to find a new brand.

I bought a pack of these socks and have now worn 2 of them one time each. The amount of degradation is incredible - the yellow thread on the toes is worn through and on the other pair there is fraying on the pattern. Clearly not up to the old standards and to be avoided.

About 25 years ago I bought some Gold Toe socks that lasted many, many years. I was amazed that such durable socks existed, but living in Japan I simply didn’t have an opportunity to buy any more. Well, until Amazon.

I bought some Sta-Cool Tab socks designed for golf. What I received were sicks prone to be ‘eaten’ by almost any kind of shoe. They do not deserve to be called ‘cool’, much less possess any qualities that make them suitable for golf. They do, however, have that gold thread in the toe area. Wow.

I didn’t just buy one pack, but two. I can honestly say I hope these things don’t last years. Very disappointed.

Oh, and what is the ‘Tab sock’ designation? My guess? They designed these socks and testing showed that shoes sucked the socks down around mid-foot like there was a space-like vacuum in the shoe. The solution was to add a tab at the back of the shoe, it didn’t solve the problem but IF a customer is attentive it gives them something to pull the sock back up by.
