I have worked with Gabriel before and I was very happy with my last position. He was very helpful this time again, great recruiter!

Gabriel gave a detailed review of how his company can assist teachers with finding a suitable job

I’ve been solicited numerous times by this fake recruiter. When I posted my resume on Dave’s ESL, he sent me a message claiming he could connect me with schools. And he demands $150 “as collateral.” Collateral for what? It makes no sense. A few years ago he said it was “because of Covid.”

Dave's ESL has a banner warning you against these scams. It says, “Avoid scams by NEVER paying fees for a teaching position and stay far away if payment is requested (especially Western Union).”

A real recruiter receives commissions from schools, not payments from teachers. So I wrote to “Golden Staffing” and asked him to name a specific school he recruits for. He doesn’t have an answer, nor does his website.

Save your money and find a real recruiter who can directly schedule an interview for you with a school.

Gabriel is honestly so helpful and friendly! Really appreciate him doing above and beyond to assist!

I have an experience working in SEA without a recruiter. This time I heard about Dave's ESL cafe. I posted my resume and received a message under the name Angela Rose and Bryan who works at Golden staffing. They then told me to add Gabriel Adkins to his skype and but got to confused why he is having multiple Skype account. I then checked his LinkedIn and it looks unprofessional even in the first glance. I still message him and he then ask for $195 USD for upfront payment. I told him I will not pay for anything he then told that it's their new policy 2 years ago. Lol When I told him I am not interested he keeps on messaging me telling me all these nonsense. This guy keeps on scamming people. If you have all the credentials needed and worthy of experience, please don't pay for anything!

I reached out to Golden Staffing and I immediately got a email from Angela and thereafter got a call from Gabriel assisting me in how to go about applying for online teaching. He was so extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist me in which schools I should apply for and said that when I do decide to teach abroad and not remotely I should give him a call. I am so excited now to keep job searching after that call and feel totally positive and excited to start teaching!! Thank you Gabriel and Angela!!!

I saw a few reviews on this platform about people claiming to have paid or have been asked to pay $150. Well...I was asked that too but it's up to individuals to make the choice. Infact, it's the request for an upfront administrative fee that brought me here in order to verify the legitimacy of this company, and it appears to be legitimate based on the positive reviews. However, after all said and done, I'd rather not pay an upfront fee to secure a job. So let the buyer beware and take responsibility for their own actions. If the company chooses to charge you an upfont fee and you accept to do do, then that's on you. Goodluck!

After posting on Dave's ESL, I got in contact with Gabriel who introduced me to some recruiters in locations I was interested in. Still early in the process, but I appreciate him being able to answer a lot of questions, and offering guidance on what a new job would entail.

Golden Staffing's agent Angel Rose contacted me unsolicited (she found my CV posted on another site), and she demanded all kinds of documents from me without listing a single job or prospect for me. I told her I was not interested in sharing my information (she already had my CV) until she could share this information. So she wrote an email insulting me. I wrote one back, and she continued to send me emails attacking me personally, using swear words to describe my family, and long lectures on God, Hell, and eternity (!). It's been a week, and I still see emails from her going into my spam folder. She's clearly mentally ill, and even though I contacted her boss, she still sends email to my spam folder. Avoid Golden Staffing.

P.S. They claim to have asked for proof “to no avail.” They wrote that claim only minutes after sending me the request. Does Angela Rose work there? Her LinkedIn account shows she does that she works there, and they do not deny it. So they have the entire record of the correspondence. They don't have to pretend that they are in the dark. Angela Rose knows what she did, and her email box would have the record. And yes, I agree, this has nothing to do with employment. As I already explained, I never sought employment through a third-rate third party like Golden Staffing. This is simply HARASSMENT by a Golden Staffing employee! I never submitted any material, never paid for any service, and never got a reference number from Golden Staffing, but I did get about 15 emails from Angela Rose. What kind of asylum are you running? Please read the other two verified one-star reviews and see the pattern. Please Google this company and see how many other people complain about their unprofessional behavior.

These guys are a scam, and the scam is run by very sad little people.
