Hired a car at Nice airport which broke down that evening...hours on hold, then no-one came to repair it. Three days later they towed the car away and we got a taxi. Holiday wrecked by cowboy car rental company - then I get charged sa 50 euro surcharge because I hadn't filled the tank! GOLDCAR CUT CORNERS. Don't risk your holiday with them.

Very good customer service.
Available when we needed their help and were able to resolve our issue very quickly.
Dropping off the car was a lot easier, left the key in the keybox.

Our car was pre booked online very easily. The reception staff were very respectful about what part of the service we did and did not require, without any pushy sales pressure.
The car was clean and in perfect condition. It had sat nav but we did not have access to that so we used our Google Maps. Return procedure could not have been easier with a very polite receiver.

After reading the reviews about Goldcar we were really apprehensive on using the company, which turned out to be far from the truth in our experience. Goldcar Nice gave us a stress free and faultless experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend using the Key n Go service!!

Very good organization of delivery cars, nice and almost new car, a perfect service that made my day.

It was a smooth experience but we were being upselled the insurance by mentioning how new the car was and even one scratch from anyone would cost us a lot. We were very stressed out after not taking it even though we knew our credit card would cover for any issues.

The car was dirty when we collected it and there were scuff marks all over the vehicle. That would be fine except that the damage policy is quite specific to what scratches are chargeable. If you don’t spot every single indent or scuff at the time you collect you are up for being charged the excess when you drop the vehicle off. The goldcar staff were polite and helpful I have no issue with them. But I doubt I would use goldcar again as the rental price you agree on line is not the actual price you end up paying.

Awful. Battery died on day 2; no-one helped. Recovery company never called back. - left stranded and holiday ruined. Pay peanuts get monkeys. GOLD medal for cheap, rubbish cars and abysmal customer service.

Goldcar at Nice Airport is a scam.
Everything was fine until we were returning the car. Goldcar staff claimed that there was too much sands in the car and asked us to either drove out to clean it then return or charge us 70 euros. As a car rental company they should expect some dirt in the car after holiday trip. This is just a scam. If you were in a rush, you may end up to pay the 70 euros charge. Luckily we had plenty of time so I drove out to the petrol station and hoovered car , spent only 1 euro, but too much hassle. I rented cars many times before but never asked to clean the car before returning. To be honest this time the car was not "dirty" at all. We did not go to beach and the car boot was very clean. It was just an excuse to squeeze some money from their customers. I will avoid Goldcar next time.

Very good price. Good service at pick up and drop off with no waiting. Fiat 500 car was a bit old (50+K km). Black colour and poor airconditioning not suitable for Provence in July! But otherwise all fine

Pick-up and drop off went smooth bit I was surprised about the total cost once all of the add-ons (airport tax, insurance, etc.) had been added.
