Going Underground were tasked by Wessex Water to repair a leak on our supply pipe. Frustratingly, I twice waited in vain for them to turn up, but I suspect this may in part have been due to them being busy after a spell of very cold weather. When Aaron and Kyle came, they were very polite and did a great job despite the difficulties they encountered due to the pipe having been repaired at least four times previously. They replaced the whole pipe, filled all the holes back in, and left the area neat and tidy.
Overall, I was very pleased with the result.

We had a water leak under the house and from start to finish the service was very good. From the survey to the engineers turning up and completing the work, also the help from the office including a follow up phone call to make sure we were happy with the work carried out. Excellent would highly recommend

The company suggested that, although they could do the work and quoted for it, it would be a cheaper and better long term solution to get the majority of the work done internally, with only a nominal amount for them to do externally. I'm glad I took their advice - it was indeed a lot cheaper and avoided potential problems in the future.

Experienced, friendly team who provided a solution for drainage and completed the work in a highly efficient manner. The site was cleared and the company contacted us to ensure the work had been carried out to our satisfaction.

A really fast response following a water pipe leak at our property. The initial survey was brilliant, working out the most cost effective way to replace the water pipe, and in doing so trying to cause as little disruption as possible to our house- through avoiding digging up the living room floor.
When it came to completing the work, the two that came out were polite and hard working. They laid and plumbed in the new pipe to a good standard. They cleaned up after themselves to the point where it would be hard to know that a new pipe had been laid. I’m really pleased with their work, and the overall price. I would definitely recommend in the future.

The hard work and promptness of the workforce

Aaron and Kyle came to us to fix our leak. Very polite & friendly and explained clearly what they were up to. Leak found after several exploratory digs and they fixed the leak and also kindly replaced our pipework from the road to the house so that we should not get any more issues which they did not need to do but they were worried our pipework age would mean more leaks so better to go the extra mile. All tidied up and put back to original state.

Very happy customer. Polite, professional people from the receptionist to the guys who quoted us and the workers on site. Very competitive price and stuck to it. Would absolutely recommend.

Today Kevin and Steve came to replace the whole of my mains pipe as I had a leak , which I was rather dreading , but I was at once reassured and treated kindly as they got on with the job swiftly and expertly. Kevin talked me through every step of the way , made a super job of it all and left everything tidy , and no leak ! Thankyou both.

After having a somewhat larger than usual water bill, an engineer from the water company informed us of a leak that had been narrowed down to somewhere on our property. We were subsequently issued with a 21 day notice to get the leak fixed.

From initial contact with Going Underground to book in the surveyor, to completion of the repair was within the 21 days required and exceptional from start to finish.

The surveyor, Andy, was open an honest about what the job would entail, and also any possible hidden costs that might occur. Aaron, along with Steve and Kev, arrived promptly on the morning the works were scheduled and went about their business in a professional and friendly manner. Work was completed within the timeframe expected, and the site was left immaculate once the team were satisfied that we, the customers, were satisfied.

At all stages every member of the team spoken to have been happy to answer questions, and give no nonsense, straightforward replies.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Going Group/Going Underground, and if the need arise would happily call upon their services again.

Going Underground installed new mains pipe & built the groundworks for a log cabin.
They did a very professional job . They managed to mole a mains pipe through very stony limestone brash. They organised for the pipe connection with Wessex Water (they clearly have a good relationship with them) & building regs on the drainage for the cabin.

They employ their own team of workers , which I think is important. Onsite they did the work in a timely manner. They were tidy & respectful of the property .

We needed a new service pipe installed under our front drive to replace the old leaking water pipe. Over three days three chaps from Going Underground worked on digging several holes in the drive (concrete and rocks) before working a mole through to feed the new pipe. They also had to dig holes in our porch to connect the new pipe. The work was done efficiently and thoroughly and they left everything neat and tidy. I don't think it was an easy job but they tackled it with expertise and determination. Very satisfied.

We can't say a big enough thank you to Kevin, Alex, Tom and Andy.
Simply refused to leave the job until everything was finished to perfection. I have never seen 3 more polite, courteous, hard working and friendly people as Kevin, Alex and young Tom.
They treated our house as though it were their own and we were family!
We have had 3 different companies try to fix our water problems over the last 10 years and no-one had been able to discover the source of our incoming main to our Victorian House. Not only were Going Underground the first company to actually find 2 lead spurs off a poly 25mm supply we had no idea were there, they refused to give up until they had found exactly were they fed too and the exact cause of our poor pressure and flow rate problem!
They even stayed behind on the last night to make sure there were no leaks and the concreting was put down perfectly til almost 7pm from 8am!
We have never had such good water flow and pressure and Wessex Water haven't even upgraded the supply to 32mm yet.
