Going Underground…does what it says on the tin!

The team from Going Underground communicated well throughout the task, they were prompt, and worked well, cleaning up as they went. At the end of the task, the whole site was as it had been beforehand, with no evidence of their activity. They explained their procedures and contingencies throughout, and have communicated with me after the event to ensure all is well, which, to date, it is.

Aaron & Charlie of Going underground…

Aaron & Charlie of Going underground were tasked by Wessex water to trace & fix a small leak in the service pipe from the water meter to the house.
In spite of working amongst plants & bushes they were very careful and efficient at find two leaks and then pulling in a new blue pipe to replace the original black one, aged around 39 years. The meter was also replaced to complete the job. Everything is fine now and they cleaned and cleared up the area. Even hosing down the resin driveway.
I found the job interesting as both Aaron & Charlie took the time to explain how the processes all worked to secure a new supply.

A Great Experience for an Accidental Customer

We had a leak detected on the supply pipe from the master valve and Wessex Water quickly arranged for Going Underground to rectify things. Despite the supply pipe taking a circuitous route to the house and having a very non-standard configuration that caused Wessex Water's proposed location of the leak to be incorrect, George, Gav and (following a call for reinforcements) Sean saw it through. Three deep holes later the actual leak was found right beside the house. The leak in a very old polypipe was fixed and the boys then made good after a very long and hot, 12 hour day.

We bought a field

We bought a field! It had no mains water and the lower section, according to locals was always very muddy. We contacted Going Underground, and spoke to real people. The survey guy came out, on time, and said “no problems and this is what we will do”

They arranged with Wessex Water all the dates, and the mains water was in. Then the drainage. They suggested the best solutions for us, and sent the quote. It was writhing budget. We then asked about adding a few bits and again “no problems”.

The work was completed on time and with a great team who worked the ground and the team back at the office always knew what was going on. A couple of little snags, but these were sorted within 2 days.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Going Underground, who really do put their clients first. Thanks.

Exceptional Service

A genuinely exceptional level of service: from the professional survey, the quick turnaround on the quote, the operations management, the graft of the team on the job, and the quality assurance post-works; this is the quality blue print for all firms to aspire to.

I’m a residential customer and Going Underground in Shaftesbury installed a new water supply pipe to my property to improve the internal pressure and flow.

Replaced mains water pipe

We would highly recommend Going Underground. We needed our mains water pipe replaced and were unsure how to go about it. We contacted Going Underground and from beginning to end they were polite and professional. Kevin, Tom and the rest of the team worked hard to complete the job. They reinstated our front garden as if they had never been here.

Just had two operatives from this…

Just had two operatives from this company to my house in Hampshire to renew my leaking water service below my front garden.
I feared the worst having my garden destroyed but these guys were so careful and kept everything clean
Three small holes discovered the leak
Fitted new pipe work with their “mole” and got us back on water in no time
They left my front garden as they found it
They were very professional and polite
I’m not wishing a water leak on anyone but if you do have one then this is definitely the company to head for.

People you can trust

From first contact to completion they were clear and kind. Presented with a bewildering range of choices and prices for our urgent water main re route we chose Going Underground. Aaron, Charlie and crew duly arrived and carried out the job more swiftly and less invasively than we had envisaged. They even carefully moved a very large bumble bee that was in potential danger of being trodden on! Just one example of their attention to detail.

Going Underground worked with us to replace a leaking pipe

Going Underground worked with us to replace a section of pipe which had a leak. We are a busy school and they worked with us to ensure we met health and safety and safeguarding demands - even though the pipe was across our main access point they ensured deliveries and lunches could still move freely. The team were polite and accommodating, they left the site clean and tidy. Most importantly when we hit a 'snag' they showed creative problem solving, staying late and sending extra resources to ensure we could open the next morning when they were able to put in a permanent fix.
Very highly recommended.

I was relieved and impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of Jon and Sean when they came and replaced a leaking water pipe running from the metre outside the house. This involved reworking the layout of how the water pipe would enter the house and then the re-routing once inside. It took an experienced eye to see the best solution and plenty of hard work to put it into practice. Many thanks to the company and for their speedy response. Jane Balls
