Beware: Faulty Products and Unhelpful Customer Service at Goggles4U
I recently experienced significant issues with an order from Goggles4U (Order #001311852). The lenses on my glasses were defectively fitted, causing impairment and questioning the product's durability. Despite the clear fault occurring well within a reasonable timeframe post-purchase, Goggles4U's response was highly unsatisfactory. Their warranty policy, supposedly capped at 15 days, seems at odds with UK consumer law expectations, particularly concerning goods being fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
When attempting to address this issue, I was advised to purchase another pair and provide evidence of the defect. Unfortunately, this process was marred by some of the worst customer service experiences, with customer services, who displayed a notable inefficiency in resolving simple queries, consuming an hour of my time unnecessarily.
This experience not only highlights a concerning disregard for customer satisfaction and legal compliance but also raises red flags about the company's after-sales support. Prospective customers should tread cautiously and consider these factors when deciding to purchase from Goggles4U.
