Zero stars. The GoFundme Giving Guarantee is an absolute joke. Fundraiser event didn’t go ahead. Person cashed the donations. Gofundme thinks that’s fine 😡

In order to set up a GoFundMe to help a community in need, I was forced to give a third company based in The Netherlands full access to my bank account including my balance. This company is called Adyen which has a 1.4 TrustPilot rating and is not contactable! I did not want to do this but as I had to put the needs of others who are more in need before my own, I was effectively forced to do it. Now I have to speak to my bank on the phone - which is next to impossible - to stop the access.

Go fund me cancel an official account of 25 years old German charity organization becsuse they have an account for helping the children with cancer in Iraq .. and the account has 15 Euros .. without a reason .. but when you do it for Ukraine .. you can do what ever you want … Go fund me is s political racist group

I did a fundraiser maybe on us site and they sent money to the wrong bank account and I needed that desparately with no customer service to boot. very suicidal . they have sent the funds to a wrong account, but taken their commission, are they under a watchdog. I am suicidal right now and need answers

What a discrace and a embarrassment this is and it's a scamm i havd reported to the right team i have been trying to get funding for our country's armed forces 3 times i have attempted tnen iget a message saying they havs removed my funding page with the dafter excuse after I asked tnem for support I have had to cancel my card details twice now because of them don't trust them any more and I'll find some other way to try get funding for our armey

The Gofundme platform is a scam. For 1 month, I sending to Gofundme emails almost daily to the customer department, to clarify the situation of my account, and I get an evasive answer after a week, with various other unjustified requests. I do not recommend this platform, they are profitable scammers.

I didn't agree with their updated T&Cs so wanted to delete the account. The help agent was unable to answer my question and abruptly closed the chat.
Now trying to get confirmation that my data has been deleted, a simple question that they could or would not answer.

We set up a page for a local cause and found they charge 15% commission despite advertising 2.9%. Avoid like the plague please.

Terrible platform. I had two campaigns running concurrently and when I requested withdrawals for just one, they sent ALL the funds for both. No reference to the name of the campaign, instead a series of digits. Zero common sense, how difficult would it be to give a named reference? I forwarded all the funds to the first charity, without realising the money was for both. But I'd never requested for the second, so why would I even question it? I am ending up having to pay for the shortfall, and if people didn't know me, they would think this could be a misappropriation of funds raised, which is a very serious issue. Would never use again.

If only I could give this fraud company no stars. Set up a go fund page for my village community after we had an devastating environmental disaster, quickly closed it down when I realised what a shower it was. Avoid. Seriously don’t give this company your time nor your money.

Corrupt organization who support destructive & harmful global corporations. They effectively stole my donation to the truckers, stating to give it to a source of THEIR choice!. Have nothing to do with this rotten bent corrupt company, I've applied for a charge back, not having any of it, or any further dealings with these thieves. Stay well clear of this crooked outfit.

Its a scam outfit who proves democracy is clearly an illusion by blocking legitimate fundraisers ONLY AFTER they have already stashed the cash in gofundme accounts. 2 years ago they also froze the account of a fundraiser for a little girl who needed a bath. That campaign was a few pounds short and its still ongoing apparently even though the campaign ended long ago. They are STILL taking peoples money under false pretences. Its as big a scam as there is.

This company rips people off! and is a dictatorship, they rip people off and give monies to who they think should have it, instead of who its intended for! what a rip off company....
