Before working with Ben at GoFounder, I was spending too much time on non-billable, non-profitable tasks and found it hard to switch off from the business. I was always thinking about growth, even during personal time.
Working with Ben as an accountability coach quickly changed that. He helped me spot the sticking points and time-wasting tasks, which freed up around 20 hours a week. That gave me more time to focus on billable work and, just as importantly, the ability to actually switch off once the work was done.
Since then, my business has pivoted into more profitable work and is now less stressful, higher paying, and easier to scale. Profit margins are now at a record high, and personally, I feel the best I ever have. I’m less stressed, enjoy my time away from work more, and have been able to spend more time with my family and on personal projects.
The biggest shift for me has been in mindset, building the business around the life I want, rather than planning my life around the business.

GoFounder is great! I’m not sure what I’d have done without my coach!

In the first month with GoFounder, we’ve easily added around £60k in revenue. I've been able to talk to my coach about what I need to do (and haven't done because I've been busy!) and he's made me accountable to do the nitty gritty stuff which actually makes me more money! Like calling an old client - who I've now got 5 new jobs from (worth around £40k minimum) and who has another 10 jobs to drip feed through.

I’ve also started back at the gym, which was something I wasn't doing at all for the last year consistently! And now I am...and my coach checks that I have, which is great. That was a big thing for me and mentally it’s really helped me. And I'm off on holiday next week and without doing the work with my coach, I'm not sure I would be able to switch off. So I'm super pleased.

Just being able to step away from the business and have some ME time for the first time in a long time is game-changing. I've been able to delegate better to my staff and make them more accountable too, which in turn means we are doing more with less time in the business. I started working with my accountability coach, Ben, 8 weeks ago.

Like some, I was a little cynical about the idea at first. I thought to myself: “Why pay someone else money when I’m the one moving the needle?”

But the same applies when you hire a PT or counsellor - their expertise and aid are there to keep you going when sometimes the discipline you have for yourself cannot.

Compare that with the last few months prior to working with GoFounder - it felt like I was spinning, doing a lot but not going anywhere. Already, I’ve seen an uplift in website traffic since being held accountable to start publishing more content. But by far the biggest impact has been getting reassured that it’s OK to not do the 101 other things I could be doing that week – instead, focusing on the tasks that are going to give me the biggest results. More so, my workload feels sustainable for the first time in a long time - reducing stress and the risk of burning out, I’m sure!
