Different company names, same frustrating experience GoDeeds GoBundled TheDecFirm

GoDeeds.com, The Deck Firm, and GoBundled appear to be connected businesses, and based on our experience, the same poor service and incompetence carried across all of them. Endless runarounds, unresolved legal document errors, lack of accountability, and months wasted trying to fix simple mistakes. Different company names, same frustrating experience.

Avoid GoDeeds.com at all costs

Avoid GoDeeds.com at all costs. In April 2025, we hired them to prepare a quitclaim deed, and the paperwork came back with multiple names misspelled throughout the legal documents. We contacted them at least 10 times over nearly 10 months trying to get the errors corrected, but every response was “another department” handles it. Despite repeated promises, they never fixed the issue. Eventually they refunded us, but the defective paperwork still remains unresolved. This level of incompetence with legal documents is unacceptable and potentially harmful. Consumers should be extremely cautious before trusting this company with important property or legal matters.

My mom and dad went through LegalZoom…

My mom and dad went through LegalZoom to write their trust. There was an option for a couple hundred bucks to make it so that the deeds to their properties would go to my brother and I. One property for myself, the other for my brother. We only received one deed. The other one never came. And they will not return our calls. I fear that even if we go through LegalZoom to get the issue resolved that we'll have to send the deeds back to go deeds and they'll be lost. Terrible company. I recommended legals them to my mother and now I look like an a******.

Beware GoDeeds attaches themselves to your title

My father used legalzoom to transfer his deed into his trust. Through legalzoom website, he clicked on godeeds and signed up for title transfer service and monitoring. In his last months, he tried to get a reverse mortgage for my mother, only to find out godeeds attached themselves to the title. When he asked them to remove themselves they told him to get a lawyer. He literally fought them until the day before he died. Now my mother cannot use the equity in her property to live off of thanks to this preditory company. and shame on LegalZoom for having these preditors on their site.

Not helpful- use a different service

I tried to use Legal zoom, who will then use Godeeds, for real estate deed transfers. They don't provide any information about what will be needed in the process. Then if you need to cancel, you will be charged $25, even though neither LZ or Godeeds completed any work. Neither mention a cancellation fee. Horrible customer service. Use an attorney, it will be much faster and easier.

I paid legal Zoom a "rush fee" to do a deed transfer. Two weeks later, it is not done, Because they are going through a place called Godeeds in NY. Worst customer service I have ever had. Don't answer emails back or take multiple days. No one answers when you call. At the beginning of last week, I paid for notary public and sent GoDeeds the signed deed. Today, I receive an email from Jim R. asking for the same information (signed deed) I sent last week. Additionally, he is now asking me for LLC operating agreements. I want to know, why was I not asked about those LLC docs until today? My order was two weeks ago so I should have been asked for that info. immediately, rather than have GoDeed use it an excuse to delay my order further.

No Problems

When I expressed my concern to my Notary about the poor reviews of GoDeeds, he said he had used them multiple times without any issues, and indeed my matter was handled in 3 weeks. My feeling is that the problems described here are due to poor notary performance. 98% correct is a fail.

I sent the original notarized quit…

I sent the original notarized quit claim deed along with a copy of my declaration of trust to godeeds on June 6, 2023, via certified mail, confirmed by US mail delivery receipt showing it was signed for June 14th, 2023 to Godeeds
8940 Main St. Clarence NY 14032. Two months later, not receiving a confirmation. I called godeeds.
I was informed that they never received it. I contacted Legal Zoom, they 3rd party called godeeds with me on the line, and again, I was told they never received it. I have the US Postal Service Certified delivery receipt showing a signed delivery to godeeds correct address. Now what can I do? Godeeds response is "send us another notarized quit claim document."
I'd like my quit claim deed returned but it doesn't appear that this will happen.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Total ripoff. Was referred to them by Legal Zoom and I let Legal Zoom know that this company almost cost them a customer. They charged me 269.00 to transfer my property into my trust. I called Godeeds and ask them a couple days later if I could cancel it being that I never send back the signed deed to record and their employee told be yes. No problem. They will charge you a 25.00 service fee. I agreed no problem. Will they only refunded me 20.00 and said that they completed the order. Which is not true. I tried to get a refund for what their employee told me and they said he was wrong and I had to go through Legal Zoom. So I did. Legal Zoom said I had to deal with them. The manager at godeed was Condescending and didn't care. Legal Zoom finally reached put to them also and they said pretty much. Tuff shi*. So buyer beware. Horrible company. Do not stand behind what the tell you. I am now out the 249.00 not to me the headache of it all. I have disputed it through my credit card company. We will see. I can prove they have not completed the order because my house is not in the trust. You have been warned.

Good experience.

I'm surprised to see all these bad reviews. I got my deed transfer the day after I ordered it in Legal Zoom. I didn't know I got it because Legal Zoom didn't tell me it would come from godeeds. I contacted godeeds, they were very nice and helped me right away. I got my quit claim done in just a couple weeks. No problems.

HORRIBLE

I had a great experience with Legal Zoom until I ordered a real estate deed transfer. I had no idea they partnered with Godeeds for this. I have been calling and emailing since May and no response. Paid $150 for a product I never received and I can't even get a call back. Legal Zoom has been absolutely no help. Will not use either company ever again. Stay away!

Jim Roadli- never delivered

Jim Roadli- never delivered. kept asking for the same information, claimed that he never received it while I was sending e-mails with documents submitted as per his request. The worst experience ever. Do not deal with this company.

Total Frauds

Worst experience ever. Paid extra for an express deed transfer package. Waited a couple of weeks, expecting delays due to COVID, and tried several times to contact during their limited support hours. Finally reached someone almost a month after paying for the order. No work was ever performed, no documents were provided, legalzoom claimed it was their partner, GoDeeds, who needed to refund the money. GoDeeds claimed LegalZoom needed to refund the money. Both failed to return the money for not fulfilling an order, simply because an order had been placed “in their queue” with no further action.

Worst customer service - GoDeeds.com

Worst customer service! I use Legal Zoom for all my Real Estate related activities and love their service. However for Deed Transfer service, Legal Zoom partners with GoDeeds.com. First off, they filed the deed incorrectly and wanted me to pay for the shipping to return notorized document back to them just to resubmit correction. More than that, the rude customer service they provided forced me to cancel all my other pending orders with Legal Zoom. Stay away from them.
