One foot out the door with GOAT, sad to say.
For the last couple of months, I’ve pretty much lost faith in GOAT. It started back in February with a sneaker that I was stoked to get a great price for (Air Max 95 OG Mandarin 2.0), but there was some kind of “mix-up” with the sneaker during the verification process (which I didn’t believe for a second) and I had to get refunded. Suffice to say, nowadays the sneaker is WAY more expensive and I am willing to pay the high for it.
Fast forward to recent events. I purchased a Jordan 3 with a damaged box (not a problem) and apparent “markings” (also, not a problem). My problem is the deceptive manner in which the pictures are taken for the conditional pairs. Why make the claim that the sneaker has defects if there are little-to-no pictures of said defect at all? And at the same time, skip over the fact that the sneaker’s toebox on the right foot was warped or out of alignment. Long story short, I haven’t been too happy with GOAT halfway through 2026. Something’s changed, and not for the better. The integrity and vibe is different, the customer service is different, and the prices that once used to be the best- just simply aren’t.
