After waiting for it to get back in stock, I ordered a Steinhart Ocean 39 Green from Gnomon Watches online because I wanted a nice daily dive watch to wear in place of my Submariner. Thru my research, Steinhart had great reviews on quality for the price of the watch so I took a chance. When the watch arrived, I saw that it definitely looked and felt premium right out of the box. Upon close visual inspection, I noticed two very small dot defects on the bezel insert. Under certain lighting angles, you can see one of the defects with the naked eye. I took pictures of the defects, and sent them to Gnomon to let them know about it. I also noticed that the watch was running 10 seconds fast per day. I let them know about that as well in my email to customer service. They responded within 48 hours to me by email and here is the response -

" The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200 movement, with an expected accuracy of approximately up to ±20 seconds per day according to the movement specifications. Any variation within this range is considered normal.
Regarding the spot on the bezel, you may try gently removing it using a toothpick to see if it can be cleared."

After looking up the specifications on the movement of the watch, I discovered that they are correct and that it is within tolerance variations. I guess I just expected more from a modern swiss movement in 2026. However, the response for the bezel defects was severely lacking. Really?? Take a tooth pic and try to clean it?? Not, we are so sorry about this, we will send you a replacement and we will send you a shipping label so you can ship that one back to us, or please take it to this service center and we will have it changed out for you.
If I purchase a brand new $600 watch and right out of the box it has small defects, am I being too critical or should I expect better quality and better service on this purchase? I don't think I am out of line here. Just beware when you purchase from a overseas seller, the level of service you will encounter may not be what you are expecting. Overall, I love the watch and it is gorgeous. Despite the small issues, it is a great value for the price point. Service is not a strong point with Gnomon Watches.

Bought a watch from them at a great price, their responses via email were super fast and clear. Watch arrived in perfect condition, well packed and FAST!

Excellent service. I purchased a Squale watch, which arrived in 3 business days (Singapore to Canada) in perfect condition.
Prior to ordering, the watch was shown on the website with only a rubber strap. I emailed Gnomon to ask if a steel bracelet was possible. Anders Tan responded promptly, and added the steel bracelet option to the website. Great experience.

I really wanted to have a good experience with Gnomon Watches, but sadly it was the opposite. I placed an order for a watch and waited patiently, only to realize it hadn’t shipped even after two full weeks. I emailed their support and was told it would go out the following week—but that week came and went with no update, no tracking number, nothing.

I tried reaching out through every channel I could: email, social media, their website. Days went by with absolutely no response. Then, out of nowhere, I received an automated email saying my order had been cancelled and refunded. No explanation, no apology, not even a short message acknowledging all the delays and lack of communication.

This was a really disappointing experience from a retailer I expected much better from. Great watches or not, customer service matters, and this felt like I was completely ignored from start to finish. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Squale 1521: good price, excellent comms and very fast delivery.

Ordered online, received a purchase order immediately and the watch shipped the next day.
The watch arrived in 4 days (to Europe) where it was delivered and was in perfect condition, box was well protected during transit also.

I saw 3.5 stars and was dubious, but I can’t see why it isn’t 4-5 stars. Would order from them again, no questions asked.

I bought and orient star from them that had some cosmetic issues. Let’s just say make sure you are buying from an authorized dealer for specific brands. Otherwise Gnomon was great. Shipping was extremely fast and all customer service was responded to quickly.

No shipping, no replies for four days despite my emails and instant messages.

On August 11, Gnomon finally responded claiming the “last piece” failed QC. Let’s be honest—due to the delay, they simply ran out of stock. Calling it a QC issue is insulting to my intelligence.

This is unacceptable service, and I will not be shopping with Gnomon again.

Gnomon and Anders made my experience with this company exceptional. The watch is very high quality and the speed of delivery was unbelievable to outback Queensland Australia. Will not be my last purchase.

Really good AD, best prices for Ball watches. I ordered mine and it was promptly shipped within a day, arrived in 4 days total so very fast from Singapore. It was packaged very well, lots of cushioning and a nice free polishing cloth alongside.
The watch was in perfect condition and had a filled out warranty card with it. I can’t complain about anything it was an incredibly easy process, and the price was great I feel like I got a good deal.

Even though I had some issues trying to buy on Gnomon, the customer service helped me and guided me fantastically! Anders Tan answered me fast, reliable, very effectively and with excellent treatment. This is the second time I buy here and I’ll continue doing it!

I ordered a watch and a watch travel roll from them. I received just the watch. After seding them an email, they told me that the watch roll was not up to their standards and did not shipped it. The last batch of the rolls were defective due to high humidity. They apologized for not informing me before hand about the situation and they will process a refund. I gave 4 stars for failing to communicate before hand, but I appreciate the fact that they inspect their products before shipping. I will buy from them again and I recommend them.

Abysmal customer service. No SLA, no ethics of trying to build a relationship with a new client. Just lost in instagram promotions and limited edition hype mongering.

I have received my purchase "Glycine watch Airman" on time. Before that, I contacted their customer service, and they have been great explaining what is available and what is not. I am very happy and satisfied with their service and the watch. I will definitely continue buying from them. Thank you.

I have ordered 3 watches from Gnomon over the years with nothing less than impeccable and responsive service, ultra fast shipping, and quality products. I will be a long time customer.

I was a tad nervous to go through with my purchase, due to my bank flagging Gnomon as a scam website. However I requested they lift the ban, so I could proceed with payment. I had to try, even if it sounded too good to be true and I swear this is one of the best decisions I've ever made to date. My Hamilton watch was on sale, free shipping over $1,000 and a few additional freebies to top it all off. Ordered Wednesday 6th of August and received Monday 12th - which is literally 3 working days! Would recommend all my family and friends to buy off this site! Prices unbeatable, faster deliveries than anything locally and if you sign up you can gain points to use towards your next purchase. Will certainly use Gnomon as my watch shop, because there's just simply no competition!

Every single time I have dealt with Gnomon, I have left with a sterling experience. I have purchased 11 watches through them across multiple brands: Marathon, Steinhart, Damasko, Seiko and Ball, and every single time the customer service was on point. The watch flew through Customs. I genuinely cannot think of a bad experience I have had with Gnomon. With decent pricing, they allowed me to expland my horizons as a collector, and for that I am grateful to Anders, Dennis and the rest of the crew! Keep up the good work guys!

I think Gnomon deserves better feedback in here. I. have bought a few watches(15 and counting) from them over the years. No problem with delivery. And certainly no problem when it comes to aftersales. Repairs and parts have always been smooth sailing. There was once they sent a watch with a different strap as advertised(not fault of their own but the manufacturer). They followed up quickly and sent out the correct strap at no additional cost. When my watch needed a service, no problem too. Easy and fuss free.

Watch bezel lume started to disintegrate on a 900 Euro Squale. Very poor. Gnomon refused to deal with issue, although the watch was only 18 months old. Tried to sell me a replacement bezel instead of acknowledging the material fault.

Ordered a metal bracelet for my sarb017. Unfortunately the end links I received are not compatible with the sarb017. I have messaged gnomon watches and will see how they respond to this error.
