I required new airbags for my WAV which was converted by GM.
Initially communication was good. There was some confusion as to what car I had which was clarified and I sent pictures as requested. After that it was complete radio silence despite a chaser email. I was obviously an inconvenience to them.

I had to bypass them and go straight to the company that made the system they use who were incredibly helpful.

A real shame they didn't want to help me keep one of their own conversions on the road, I only wanted parts, nothing expected for free.
There seems to be many good reviews, I can only go off my experience which was lacking.

Great company to deal with, fantastic communication and all round very friendly staff. We have been working with them for years and will for many more!

Called in to get my hand controls checked last week, nothing wrong with them but it is recommended you check them annually.

I have a WAV through the Motability Scheme which I got from GM Coachwork. Recently I have become less able to leave the house, and due to under use the battery kept running flat. I wanted a way to stop this happening and Motability said to get in touch with GM Coachwork Adaptations. They looked into various solutions with me, and in the end they invented an entirely new system for me, to stop the battery running flat and I am ecstatic over it.

They really took a lot of time understanding my problems, and could not have been more helpful, supportive, and innovative in finding a solution.

The dealings that I have had with GM Coachworks over the last 15-20 years has and continues to be excellent. Very honest and reliable, keen to help you and solve issues. A very professional outfit.

We worked with GMB for over 6mths to get our vehicle right. From getting the go ahead for funding right to delivery we had full support all the way, no small thing was too much no big thing to little we although 700miles away got the full 1-1 personal touch and that mattered. I would thoroughly recommend them they were 10 /10 for us .

We use two Peugeot Boxer based Minibus Lite vehicles to provide a community bus service in a market town. We chose the vehicles based mainly on economics, but were very impressed by the service we received from GM. This included a site visit to the Teign Valley factory. GM were helpful in meeting our deadlines for delivery and have been easy to work with in keeping the buses on the road although both have been inherently reliable - something of a feat as they are driven by around 20 different drivers around a relatively short, stop-start route.
GM showed themselves to be very accommodating of our requirements, sourcing and fitting an automatic sliding door mechanism with an associated powered step. We have been 100% satisfied with the base vehicle and bodywork conversion, but have had just one minor problem with the powered door. However, this fault was traced by excellent GM engineers and attributed to a component supplier's part, which was promptly replaced.
Our buses attract very positive comments from passengers and drivers. GM are to be praised for their vehicles and service, and are recommended for consideration if you're looking for good quality, reliable vehicles and a responsive supplier of lightweight minibuses.
