Is zero stars an option?

It took me nearly an hour—across four separate calls and several chat attempts—to reach anyone who could provide a simple shipment update. My first call to customer service was met with a message essentially saying, “Call back when we’re not busy.” I called again to see if the prompt had changed—no improvement.

On the third call, I selected the sales option. Someone immediately answered, only to transfer me straight back to customer service, where I was promptly disconnected.

Finally, on my fourth attempt, I again selected sales. The phone rang for eight or nine minutes before anyone picked up.

All I was trying to confirm was whether I needed to take the day off to sign for my delivery. That shouldn’t require four calls and nearly an hour of persistence.

It’s disappointing—and frankly unacceptable—that sales can answer instantly while customer service remains unreachable. If this is considered standard operating procedure, it needs urgent review. This is not the level of support customers expect in 2025.

Signed for?

I was "told" that driver delivered to wrong address. Original on status page it showed signed for by, had my last name and a circle with a number 1 in it. After contacting GLS I was "told" driver was going back to recover package. Was "told" person that "signed" for it denied getting package. "Adult signature with government ID required"After calling them GLS changed the status and was edited to "no VM, improper or missing info, unable to contact" . Contacted the support with GLS--Nothing. Seems like they "loose" a lot of stuff. Hope they enjoyed my package.. Open case with Idaho DA and consumer BBB.

what can I say that has not been said…

what can I say that has not been said in 91% of the one star reviews already posted. This Company is one of the worst businesses I have dealt with. I am assuming here, but the tracking time line does not add up I think they sent my package back to seller without even attempting to deliver or calling the customer phone number. Claiming the address was not real. So I re-ordered and left explicit instructions w/GLS to call when they arrive needless to say they did not call however they did find the address this time. My neighbor was outside when the driver arrived and watched the driver get in the back of the van take the package (6ft tall 3'x 4) rolled it out of the van and proceeded to drag it to the front of my place the box was mangled and the
Replacement Header Panel was cracked. I can not see any reason any company would do business with this very unprofessional place. there really should be a no star or half a star option GLS not good

Run away from this company. They are awful.

Run away from this company. If you have anything to be delivered by them, be prepared for the worse. After delaying a delivery for five days, they deliver my mattress (which weighs 32kg) and left it on the floor in front of my building. The courrier ran away, I saw him running away, so I wouldn’t call him back to help me. The package was completely damaged, all broken. A bunch of cowards. An awful service. Companies like that should lose their markets. They add no good value for our society.

GLS delivery company product stolen - scam

I have purchased a laptop computer online, this morning the delivery was made ( GLS company ) to my place but the package was already open and the box empty. No laptop, no power suply, nothing!!!
After several contacts with the delivery company (GLS) and no resolution from them, they said to me today that they can't do anything and that the supplier company need to fill up a complain.
It seems that at the end i will not receive my purchased product and will loose my money :(

This company has no customer service

This company has no customer service! The tracking is nonexistent and when you call customer service they tell you that they can't answer any questions and send you to the shipping dept. and 3 of the 4 times it says they are closed leave a message, I did and never a call back. Kept trying and got the same runaround.
My freight finally arrived with the help of the people who shipped it a week late and my customer was fit to be tied!
If I could give a minus 10, I would.
I cannot believe they can keep in buisness.

SEHR SCHLECHT

I would be very happy if they do not hand over the package to the GLS next time. BECAUSE; My experience has been very bad, because online is my package comes from 12 o'clock to 14 o'clock and I wait since this morning and have not got anything although I was at home not even rang they and 10:30 o'clock in the online is that no one was at home and they did not open it. then we called 10 times and they said that it is in a package shop and we have there Waited 3 hours and nothing came.

It's just terrible

It's just terrible, I was waiting for the parcel for 12 working days, on the 12th day I go back to the site and see that the status of the parcel is - The address is incorrect. Well, I think it means they didn’t get through to me, I look at the phone, it’s 11:00 on the clock, and they work at 7:00 and what a surprise, there are no missed calls. I decided to call technical support, and what did they tell me, they say I need to complete the address, they say that I should say the apartment number, I said and asked if it would be today, but they say no, tomorrow. And then I generally caught fire with a bright flame, how can this be, you work until 15:00, and you can’t deliver, well, I thought, and decided that I’ll go and pick it up myself, I think, why wait, because it literally depends on the package whether I will eat tomorrow,After all, my working equipment is on its way, I arrived, and then it just killed me, they told me that this was a courier delivery to the apartment, but I supposedly arrived on my own, and so they don’t give out parcels, and then I was generally shocked. The parcel has not arrived yet, I am writing this after I arrived from the point of issue, and I am simply shocked by how much they do not care about customers, it is not in vain that they say that this is the worst delivery service in Europe.I will update this review when she arrives, if she is also beaten, then I can congratulate them, today they killed a man with their negligence.

Disgusting service! Avoid like the Plague!

Disgusting service, they were given my Fitbit to deliver. It never arrived. I sent 2 messages via email no response. They claim to have attempted delivery this is completely untrue. Where is the photographic evidence? No response from them still and no idea where my parcel is. Appalling customer service avoid like the plague!

GLS only gives you 5 working days to…

GLS only gives you 5 working days to pick up their parcels, so better use another company!

Well, it is sad that I can not give less than one star to this service. We were away for 10 days, but I had been informed by the pick-up location that the parcel we waited for - 022545573047 - would be available there for two weeks after the delivery.
Not so. It was GLS. It had been returned when we came to pick it up.
I think this is really bad service. Two weeks is OK, but only one is too little.

Avoid at all costs

Company is a. Joke my parcel was meant to be 3-6 days delivery it's now been 2 weeks and it hasn't updated in 11 days and nobody can tell me where it is contacted the place I've bought it from and the courier still no updates

They probably don't pay their workers…

They probably don't pay their workers and break boxes out of spite.
Out of 10 packages sent to Europe, 7 arrived destroyed.
They do not pay for damages because they only reimburse shipments of new items in their original box and packed.
Is a scam. If the customer does not open the package how does he see if it is damaged?
