Food never delivered but saying delivered third time in 2 weeks.
Third time this week: the delivery was marked as delivered on the app, but nothing arrived. I am so fed up and tired of this. They can never contact the drivers, the stores are sending the food, so it's bad drivers? Do better Glovo! I ordered food, it said 'being prepared' but the order never arrived, and the restaurant closed. My order was still being prepared. It's crazy. Glovo gave me back a few euros in a voucher. I was also refunded, but where is the food the restaurant prepared and sent to me? This is madness. Please fix the system like other apps, where drivers need a code from the customer in order to get paid. The system is clearly not working.

After an hour of waiting for my order, I contacted the company and was informed of a delivery issue, leading to the cancellation of my order. While I appreciate the assurance that I would not be charged, the significant inconvenience of the wasted hour spent anticipating the delivery remains unaddressed. The repeated rescheduling of the delivery time, ultimately culminating in cancellation, reflects a suboptimal customer service experience and an inefficient application process.
Inadequate Solition
I have had an issue with a store and the agent promised a full refund but only a partial refund was issued to my account. I used this credit to order again and explained to the agent that I didn’t get my full refund and the order was again not delivered. The agent insisted that I did get the full refund and the amount I paid today as extra was because of store add ons. They refused to listen and closed the chat with what they believed was the best solution but I do not feel like I was assisted. Have your agents listen to the issues before offering solutions, maybe? Also if a store had multiple problems with not delivering their goods, stop them from taking orders because this is ridiculous.

Very hard to get a refund
Very hard to get a refund. The app doesn't give you any options. Delivery never shows or keeps pushing the delivery time back for hours with no recourse. Avoid at all costs and try ordering direct whenever possible.
4 hours late and counting...
Ordered at 9am for 12pm delivery. Delivery times continued to blow out. I cancelled the order when it hit 4pm and still "packing" the order. No help from support other than we are experiencing high demand. Will never use them again. Don't bother wasting your time

I live in Alicante Spain in the center of tien...and they always come late, missing items from big supermarkets like Alcampo or they add a bad weather tax when it's sunny and 15 gr outside! Is no one checking these restaurants/ orders for quality? Not to mention cold food, soups or coffee dripping or arriving 1 hour late

very bad service. be careful. orders are not delivered, money is not returned, arguing that you were not at home, or the address was not found. support service does not respond. standard refusals "you were not at home, so you are not eligible for a refund."

Their customer service is terrible, they don't assume any responsibility for bad service and their agents cannot help, it gives a feel of not being a real person assisting you but instead a bot. They treat their customers poorly and their riders worst. I will not be ordering any food using them.

Its not even 1 star it is like -100 stars. Horrible scam! Glovo is a terrible scam. Please do not use this app. You will lose both your money and your order. Customer support is completely useless — they simply say there is nothing they can do, and you are left without a refund or your items. Stay away.

I have used glovo for years and it was a good solid options, but in the last months, probably after their legal issues and merge with delivery hero, they have gone downhill. The worse part is they take no ownership for mistakes, drivers take forever and deliver cold damaged food, no one takes responsibility, you cancel an order after 60 minutes waiting for it ro even be picked and they charge you anyway, and the last awful experience was the driver brought the wrong product and the customer service answer was I had to go exchange it myself, that I could find the address of the store in the web.. I couldnt believe my eyes. Lastly, they have no control over people renting their account and you constantly get drivers that do not match the app, this is serious security issue, we had a driver ask for the bathroom, another one asked if we could give him food, and in both cases they got upset and threaten us, glovo support couldnt care less about our report.
I am not sure if they are just trying to get people to close their accounts so they can justify closing their Barcelona business, but this is just shameful and definitely worth a formal claim at the consumer office.

We placed a food order at around 19:30, with an estimated delivery time of 20:05. However, the delivery time kept changing, and we could see via the app that the rider was repeatedly stopping and even heading in the wrong direction. We contacted him several times and were reassured that he was on the way.
At approximately 20:45, we received a notification stating that the order had been delivered — but it never arrived. We immediately contacted customer support, yet they have been unable to process a refund.
As a result, we are now having to pursue a formal complaint. We have also discovered that closing our Glovo account requires emailing to request removal of our details. We have done so but have received no response.
Up until this incident, we had not experienced any issues. However, after reading the number of similar negative reviews online, we are extremely disappointed and concerned. Based on this experience, we would not use this service again and would recommend considering alternative delivery providers.
Don't use them
Don't use them. They're a con. The app showing delivered but no food arrived. The Cantonese Restaurant La Cala can't contact the driver. The app want 24 hours to respond. Avoid at all cost

I have used the app quite a few times and had the odd item missing but nothing serious. So my address is in the app and drivers should have no issue finding my home, but what happened recently is beyond all words. I ordered from glovo but the food was never delivered. Glovo is refusing to take responsibility and refuses to refund me or at least make my food show up

Agent was anything but not helpful.
She ended the chat before I was able to reply with my decision to return the product or proceed with refund.
She didn’t want to proceed to refund me since the product delivered was wrong. She said that the store didn’t responding but that’s no problem, I should just go there and ask for a refund.. no assistance and takes a long time to reply.
Not delivered and no refund - submitting chargeback claim
Never delivered order after trying to communicate with the driver for 30 minutes (driver was not even moving), marked as "not at home", and charged the full amount for the order.
Support is denying the refund and keep closing chats.
Submitting chargeback claim to the bank and complaint to the Spanish Consumer Protection.
Encouraging everyone to do that if your money is stolen this way, it takes minutes.
I am user of Uber Eats, Deliveroo (500 orders), Wolt (1000 orders) - never ever had the situation like this with them. Only had 2 cases in years out of hundreds of orders, when the food was not delivered and received the refund without any hesitation.
It looks like they are not complying with the basic consumer protection laws.

VERY BAD!!! Your food arrives 1 hour later. The people wait outside without reporting that the food has arrived. Food was cold and soggy, and does NOT reflect the prize!!!!

The worst of the worst. Twice I’ve ordered food and twice the courier has kept my meal. No help at all from customer service. Your workers are incompetent, useless and poor to keep and eat someone else’s dinner. Enjoy it you deserve it :)

I’ve been a Glovo customer for years, but the service has completely gone downhill. Orders now arrive late and cold every time, clearly because drivers are forced to make multiple stops. Prices are higher, service is worse, and support avoids taking responsibility. What used to be reliable is now broken. I’ve canceled my account.
