Having my fingerprints done in Lisbon with Giri was the best ever. I've had prints done several times before but were not good enough to be accepted. Giri explained the process clearly, and carefully... See more

I have used Globeia twice now to obtain my FBI background check with Apostille while living abroad. From fingerprinting to receiving my documents, the process has been quick, efficient and professional. Both times, I received my documents earlier than I expected and didn’t need to worry about anything. I will use their services again.

I’d definitely recommend Globeia if you need help getting an FBI Clearance Certificate, especially for people like me living overseas. They were super fast, responsive, and easy to deal with whenever I had questions. Booking online was simple, and the Sydney office was easy to get to by public transport.
The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff member who did my fingerprinting was really helpful and made everything easy. Even the turnaround time was great—I got my certificate just 8 days after submitting everything.
If you want something quick and stress-free, Globeia is a solid choice.

My wife and I made an appointment today to have our fingerprints taken for an FBI background check at the Lisbon location. The agent arrived 1 hour late to our appointment with little apology and was impossible to get in contact with beforehand.
When he asked my wife for her race, she said that she always puts Other, because she is mixed race. He said that he will write Asian instead, but if it doesn't match past documents it may be rejected. She asked him to please write Other to ensure there is no risk of rejection but he said no. I wish that this appointment was taken more seriously for the amount of money that they charge.

Globeia went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that complex Canadian paperwork for was done right, with no hang-ups, and a minimum of fuss on my part. It's pricey to be sure, but I'd especially like to draw attention to the fact that their agent was willing to come all the way out to a rural location in a country (France) where fingerprinting isn't readily available.

Globeia has gone the extra mile in providing services to me. Not only did they process the criminal records and apostille requests quickly, but they even helped me with additional requests, such as having documents dispatched to their premises in San Francisco, so they could ask for an additional apostille. I recommend their service.

I recently used GlobeIA to obtain an expedited FBI clearance (for a visa in Spain) - to include fingerprinting, FBI clearance submittal, apostille services and translation. The overall experience was excellent. They met the estimated time for delivery of the documents (30 days). Their online portal is great for being able to track the progress of the documents, and view/download the results. Each time I had questions, they responded to my emails within 24 hours. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the pricing is expensive. But if you are willing to spend the $, this is a company that knows what they are doing, and you can trust them to do it right, and within the committed timeframe.

Sandy was very informative and supportive through the entire process. Her communications were prompt and courteous. This is my second experience with Globeia in 2 years and I will not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Super responsive. Very accurate feedback on a timely basis. The overall service is premium price but very high quality. I would use the service again.

They are incredibly efficient and trustworthy. I've worked with them 2 times and they always deliver on time and with no issues at all. I will definitely work with them again in the future.

I would had put 0 if I could. The worst experience by far. Unprofessional service and no customer support. 3 hours wasted because they arbitrarily changed my appointment confirmed by DAYS!

The service technician was very swift with the work, and when he forgot to sign one of my papers for the fingerprint, he graciously came back again to sign it. Would highly recommend for those needing fingerprint service and certification for police clearance reports from abroad.

US citizen living in Spain. I needed assistance getting an apostilled FBI Criminal Background check. I originally contracted two services from Globeia—the expedited FBI background check (24-48 hours) and the normal Federal apostille service + a courier service to deliver results to my mom's house in the US (11-13 business days). This combination of services, which cost about $275, should have gotten me the documents within my required timeline.
Sadly, the fingerprinting requirement for the FBI background check caused so many issues that I ended up taking several weeks longer than expected. It required a lot of legwork and research on my side, and I also ended up shelling out about $200 USD in addition to what I already paid.
Basically, I had wrongly assumed that part of Globeia's process would be giving me really solid guidance on the fingerprinting part of the process, and that they would be able to help me navigate where and how to do that from my current country of residence. They sent me a PDF with instructions and told me which form to use, but gave me little else in the way of assistance.
I tried 4 different methods to get my fingerprints approved: 1) I did them myself, and Globeia advised they were not good enough quality. They said that I shouldn't even bother mailing those print cards to their SF office, because they were likely to be rejected by the FBI. 2) After lots of independent online research, I figured out how to have my fingerprints done by the head of the science unit of the National Police where I live. Globeia wasn't able to give me specific guidance on how to do it. These prints were ultimately rejected by the FBI when we sent them. 3) I spent an additional $90 to use Globeia's fingerprinting service, which is not included in the price I cited above. Those prints, taken by Globeia's local technician, were also rejected by the FBI. Globeia has disclaimers saying that the decisions are at the discretion of the FBI and that they can't be held responsible for rejected prints. They offered to repeat them at no cost, but I was running out of time and I also needed to keep paying for courier service to get the completed fingerprint cards to Globeia's office in the US. 4) Given that I had a trip to the US planned for the holiday season, I opted to get my digital prints (Live Scan) done at a participating USPS branch for $50. Although it took a few attempts, those were instantly accepted, and I had my report within 24 hours. I guess I had naively hoped that paying for Globeia's help would make the process as easy as it was once I did it myself on US soil. Alas, this wasn't the case.
I contracted Globeia's services primarily to help me navigate and figure out all of these nuances. In the end, I still needed to figure a lot of things out on my own—reading message boards on Reddit and going through a lot of time and personal expense. Globeia's staff were very courteous and responsive throughout the process, but ultimately they couldn't give me the guidance or the results I needed to receive a truly expedited FBI background check. To me, the fact that the fingerprint requirement can tank the whole process was downplayed on their website. Also, the fact that they can't guarantee acceptance of fingerprints done by their technicians makes the promise of an end-to-end service on an expedited timeline a bit dodgy.
To be clear, I'm not trying to trash Globeia or imply that they're operating a scam. It's just that this process is very complicated, with unique challenges depending on the country in which you reside, and in the end they weren't able to make the process of obtaining my background check any easier or better for me. If I had truly understood what was involved and what could (and did!) go wrong, I wouldn't have wasted my money on their expedited background check service. I would still fully recommend the apostille service, however.

I applied for a RUSH order of an FBI report and accompanying documents in July 2025. My son needed them for his school visa. I paid over $500. I never received them, and ALERT - YOU CANNOT REACH THEM, AND THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS! I just received a notice March 2026 confirming my address so they can "rush" the documents. I've waited almost 8 months for my rush order. Unacceptable!
This company raises serious concerns and may potentially be a scam. We have reached out multiple times to follow up on the status of our sensitive documents, which were supposed to have been delivered several days ago, yet we have received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of communication is deeply troubling, particularly given the importance and confidentiality of the documents involved.
At this stage, the situation feels highly unprofessional and unreliable. If you are considering using this service, I would strongly advise exercising caution until the company demonstrates greater transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to its customers.
I’ve been at this for weeks. I’m dealing with exactly no one with an American name or that understands English. Riya and Niharika so far. No brains, just a library of canned responses. They only send bulk canned responses from some FAQ that their low IQ staff don’t even know themselves. You’re on your own to dig through. Portal is nonfunctional. You ask for an expedited appointment. They respond with some BRAINLESS canned response 2-3 days later that doesn’t answer your questions. 2 weeks later still at it despite me telling them it was my time at home before traveling. They don’t care. Just another canned response you have seen. I literally said just take my money and come to my house. In the end after days of back and forth I drove an hour to Castellon to have my fingerprints taken by the National Police instead. $0 and same day verses their $150 plus $240 trip charge. What an absolute scam.
I guess it’s because I’m in Spain and folks over the Atlantic have had better luck. At this point I could have sailed over to Washington DC on a small boat and got it in hand. This is hands down the worst company I’ve worked with, even slower than the bureaucracy of the Spanish government. Save yourself stress and the time they will destroy on your immigration process. Now I need to explain to Spain I’ve gotten no where and ask for an extension due to Globeia’s failure. Don’t do it. Extortion prices, incompetent staff and fractured systems.
