Beware of sophisticated scammers!

A representative from this company called me today, saying I am more likely to recover cryptocurrency from the Quantum AI scam. The company representative insisted that, even though I did not invest any money—just by signing up and providing my email, full name, and phone number—the company then took that information and sold it on the dark web, so my details are now publicly available. They claim I have been rewarded with $57,000 CAD, which has accumulated since my sign-up. At first, they wanted to use AnyDesk, which provides full access to all the information on your computer, including passwords that can lead to sensitive details like banking sites. I refused, and that's when I knew something was off. Then another man with an accent that sounds Russian jumped on the phone, but when I checked the IP address, it was from Denmark, and the website has only been active since October 2025. The representative claims to have 10 years of experience and that their government-funded company is working to recover the fraudulent cryptocurrency and reimburse victims. He emailed me a bunch of credentials, and in return, I had to register on their website just to see how much money I am owed, in what is presumably my new crypto wallet, used by the fraudsters to generate cryptocurrency, which apparently has grown over time. All they asked was that I send them a printout of my recent banking information via email so they could deposit the money into my bank account. The man I was speaking with on the phone for quite a while is named Frank Fernandez. The reason they need recent bank statements is to prove that I was not withdrawing the money and sending it back to the fraudsters. Lol. They claimed they shut down the company that was stealing money and cryptocurrency from the Quantum AI website. As tempting as it might be to receive $57,000 CAD as easy money deposited into your bank account, think about this first. You never received any documentation saying you're awarded this money—there was no email or paper trail. Only someone calling to say you've been gifted a recovery for a supposed fraudulent company that stole cryptocurrency. So I told the man to send me all the documentation of what has transpired, and I will review it with my lawyers. He then became agitated after I kept him on the line for an hour, raising his voice and talking over me, claiming that it’s unnecessary and that I am wasting his time. I asked how I could be wasting time when this money is supposedly mine—what’s the rush to give him a decision over the phone, especially when this money has apparently been sitting there for a while. He replied, "Okay, you have 72 hours, if I don't hear from you, then we will just delete your wallet from our website, and you will not be able to claim the money that is owed to you."
