A poor customer service experience after making a warranty claim for faulty goods.

I bought two pairs of ski goggles in the off season at a total cost of £300.12. Both items arrived with a manufacturing defect which was not spotted immediately, but I made a warranty claim upon realising.

I returned the items but instead of receiving replacements, I was refunded for both pairs of goggles (although I was not refunded my shipping costs).

By this point, the retail price had returned to season prices making the total for the two pairs of goggles £473.02, although a 15% discount code brought the price to £402.06, but still a significant difference.

I telephoned Glisshop who were helpful on the phone, giving me the email address for the accessories department who could potentially help me out.

I explained the situation and was told simply ‘Unfortunately we no longer have this product in stock.’ which I believe was referring to the design / colour of the goggles that I had ordered, since they did in fact have 8 different designs of the same goggles in stock on their website.

After exchanging eight emails, during which I did not feel at all like Glisshop were actually trying to help me, I was eventually offered a further 5% discount.

I felt like I had to work at every stage to get any sort of resolution or even understanding of the situation, I did not feel valued as a customer and ultimately I am not happy with the outcome. Eventually I got a discount code to cover the cost of the shipping too that was not refunded initially, but again I had to ask for this.

I would have accepted 10% and been happy, I stated this very clearly in one of my emails. But no, 5% and an unhappy customer.

I would have liked some recognition and understanding of the situation and to be asked how they could help make it right. I would have accepted a fair compromise but felt like I was offered the bare minimum. It was just not handled very well, a poor customer service experience.

I ordered a ski jacket and it arrived within a few days. Tracking is chronopost/DPD so was easy to rearrange the delivery day and follow the parcel. No hidden tax or customs fees. Jacket arrived well packaged, and sizing is as described.

Smooth order process and delivered in a couple of days to Scotland.

Cannot fault this company, nice to get what you ordered arrive in one piece & on time in the lead time the company stated. Purchased a ski jacket. It came on time and in the correct size. It fit fine so didn’t have to worry about how the customer service was as related to returns.

Great product range, sensible pricing and no hidden charges on goods being shipped to the UK (pretty crucial this as so many sites are far from transparent in their pricing). Also great pre- and after-sales support and advice via live chat, email and on the phone (I used all three channels for various reasons). Arranged delivery ahead of schedule as well.

So yesterday I bought a Lib Tech T. Rice Pro that I was looking for SO long, and I've received it just right now, less than 24h service, I live in Barcelona (Spain).
Note that the product + shipment (9'81 €) were cheaper than the product itself in any Spanish online / physical store (including Amazon).
The product's amazing, just what you can expect of a Lib Tech deck awesome quality.

Returning items is really poor - be warned. I returned items and they were refused by the address of Glisshop and returned to me.
Cheap but be warned the service after is very poor.
Not recommended.

Some of their prices are incredibly good. Selections are massive too, especially for the variety of sizes they stock. any item I’ve had delivered has been well packed too (2 snowboards, 1 set of Skis, various other smaller parts) and zero damage

I was a bit afraid to order from this online shop after reading the reviews, but since the price for the skis I was looking for was very attractive I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did it.
I order from Portugal on 24th February and I received the skis on the first of March with normal delivery (having a weekend in the middle). I was able to track my parcel on DPD website and I received a message before the delivery. The skis are great and well packed. Good quality and amazing price. I will certain use this website again!

I was sceptical buying from this website as some of the reviews were quite negative. However, I bit the bullet and bought form Glisshop I had nothing but a positive experience. I ordered some skis and poles and they came 3 days later packaged well and in great condition.

Decent choice of items and prices

Less than a week delivery to the uk for skis and poles at excellent prices compared to the UK. Recommend. Bindings mounted, din set all good to. Packaged well and securely
