The necklace I ordered is beautiful! It's white gold and diamond Celtic cross. The previous one I ordered was not what I expected (my issue, not theirs). So I did an exchange. Longer production leads to an alternative proposed…
After getting the information that the production will last longer I informed Glencara that I need it before due to a celebration date. Glencara showed me alternatives and I chose one and they send it out immediately. As this alternative was cheaper Glencara refunded the balance also immediately. Good service, well appreciated, not better imaginable.

Still waiting for my order!
Just an update, my order did arrive on 28 September and I have received a few emails from the company sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience. My daughter is extremely happy with her gift, Thank you Bridget for becoming involved and resolving this case. I have not see the piece yet and it will be a few months before I can but going from my daughter's feedback, it is exactly as expected.
Previous review: Still waiting for my order of a special necklace and pendant for my daughter's 40th birthday to be delivered to her house. Ordered 13 September. Paid extra for delivery on 22nd. Her birthday was 26th. Received an email on 22nd saying it had been only been shipped that day and would arrive between 25th and 27th. I also received notification that the delivery does it require a signature. I paid a lot of money for this and expect it to be hand delivered. It has STILL not arrived ... SO disappointed as I have already flown home so will not be there when it arrives. It is so wrong to create expectations and then not deliver.

Glencara made the buying a 40 anniversary easy

Great item but delayed delivery and lack of communication
When I viewed the website and saw the item for my partner it said delivery 4-7 September. So I ordered it. Within a few days I got an email saying it wasn’t in stock and needed to by personally made so delivery was now 9-11 September. Disappointing but it’s only a few days. I chased it up on 11 September as I’d not received any notification of shipping. I was told due to it being handmade it was now going to be 16-19 September. If I didn’t chase I wonder if I would’ve been informed at all. They take 24hrs to reply to emails. When I requested to cancel item on 15 September as it hadn’t been shipped I was sent a tracking number which said it was awaiting delivery to postage company. They told me it had been shipped. Not true! It was shipped next day on 24hr delivery so I got it on 17 September. 2 weeks later than website stated. Birthday gift delayed but she loved the item and free gift so not end of the world but the communication needs to improve vastly.
