They have a great range of equipment for all the things you need once or twice but not enough to own.
The people are always ready to help.
A couple of times we’ve had equipment not quite functional but the team are happy to replace it and repair the broken item.

Absolutely magic idea and great gang of folk that run this. I needed to join two boards to make a bench and got sash clamps, dowel center kit, router and loads of other stuff plus a membership for absolute buttons.

Try a new hobby without buying equipment

I had previously borrowed garden tools from Glasgow’s Tool Library so I knew how the service worked. This time, I was stuck at home with a broken toe so I wanted to try a new hobby to pass the time.

I borrowed a set of crochet hooks and a book showing me how to crochet. I had great fun, trying out a new hobby without having to buy any equipment.

The name Tool Library doesn’t really tell you what a great range of things you can borrow as a member but the web site has it all.

Friendly and cheap

They're always really friendly and have saved me a lot of money because I don't have to buy most of the stuff I need at b and q. There is a bus stop near which makes it easy because I don't have a car. I borrowed a saw and it did the job great value for money and easy to use
