Really useful to be able to split the funds raised between more than one charity and to collect all the funds together in one place, with the site also able to handle Gift Aid.

First used the site for a marathon last year, since then there seems to have been a mass of new features added - it really is the Swiss Army knife for fundraisers! Back to the marathon training for me…

Thank you GiveWheel!
So pleased we chose GiveWheel as our fundraising platform - really easy to set up a page and their comms/support was always prompt and helpful! Also loved how we could split funds between our three chosen charities. After reading the two reviews on here which aren't five stars, imho I think that the words "devious" and "underhand" are extremely unfair - implying sinister operations. This couldn't be further from the truth. If you're thinking about using GiveWheel, don't let those reviews put you off. It's a fantastic platform which I have no reservations about recommending to everyone I know!

I had searched for a while to find a platform where I could actually raise money for MORE than 1 charity - seemed to have found the holy grail with you. Dare I say I’ve not had a faster response to my emails (admittedly some of them user error) and you were a great help. Thank you.

We had a great fundraising experience and so did our donors, thank you givewheel x
Good site, but sadly a bit devious
Good site, but I’m afraid I agree with Dr G : if you made it clear and simple to donate any amount from zero percent to whatever anyone chooses, that would be the honest way to do it. I’m sure you’d still get donations for the GiveWheel operation, but you wouldn’t be effectively giving people no choice. Just add the extra button to the page where a percentage is chosen.

Brilliant!!!
Hadn’t come across Givewheel until recommended by a colleague but found the whole process really positive - our school fundraising page raised lots of money for 3 charities chosen by the children ☺️ so thank you!!!

Underhand ways to get admin fees from you
Trying to donate on their page to a colleague's event it SAYS that you can reduce the "donation for their costs" to zero but gives you no option to do so. It defaults to 10% as a nudge but the minimum option button is 5%. I object to being made to pay additional to pay to a charitable cause. I've tried signing up, tried progressing for payment but I can see no option to remove it. Shame on Givewheel!
Update: After contacting them, to be fair there IS an option to not donate an admin fee, however, that option is hidden in the text. It's not given as a "button" on the donate list. It is HIDDEN within the text.
So for those who want to go ahead and use this page, I don't, within this statement:
"Adding a small contribution on top of your donation means we can support more people. You can however set this amount to 0%. GiveWheel is proud to support your fundraising."
The words around setting the amount to 0% are actually the button but unlike hyperlinks, these are set as almost the same colour as the rest of the text.
Underhand? In my view yes. I like my charity giving sites to have ethics front and centre so I will not be donating through this site.
Update again: To be fair to Givewheel they have now underlined the phrase in the text which at least means it can be found by the eagle eyed, however, what they have not done is given it equal prominence to the four boxes of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% and their attempts to justify this as ok in the discussions I've had with them just ring a lot of alarm bells for me AND the fact they only made this change after this Trustpilot review.
