While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Reliable, Scalable Global Data for the Next Generation of Philanthropy

I decided to use GiveRadar as a core data source for my latest project, SpreadBliss, which functions as a donor-to-cause matchmaker. My goal is to move the non-profit sector away from working in silos toward more unified, efficient action, and GiveRadar has been instrumental in making this vision a reality.

I specifically chose GiveRadar after discovering it was highly recommended alongside major sources like the IRS and ProPublica. After testing several options, GiveRadar stood out for its accessibility and the depth of its global coverage. While I have initially focused on U.S. data, the platform provides access to over 8 million records from multiple countries, offering everything from granular financials and leadership details to mission statements and regulatory filings on an international scale.

The data quality is exceptional, the team is very competent and responsive, even facilitating a full dataset delivery directly to my S3 bucket, which saved me months of manual API calls and technical overhead.

To anyone considering GiveRadar: the platform is robust, the support is top-notch, and the data is exactly what you need if you’re building serious, data-driven social impact tools. It is truly helping to make the non-profit sector as engaging and result-oriented as the private sector.
