I was sceptical, as all the eco-friendly deodorants I've tried have either not worked, or irritated my skin.
Finally, I've found an eco-friendly deodorant that suits me, and smells great! No nasties in this one! I've used it throughout the very hot weather we've had, without smelling sweaty!
There is an unscented version, but the bergamot and cedarwood is my favourite.
Even better, it comes plastic free!
The reason it's not 5 stars; it can get messy on the outside of the applicator, but it's easily wiped off. I know they're working on this.

It's my first time trying Shift Natural Deodorant and I'm impressed.
I suffer from a condition called Hidradenitis suppurativa and have frequent flare ups which leave me with very painful sores in various area but in particular under my arms.
Most deodorants even those advertised as natural will irritate my skin but shift doesn't.
Thumbs up to this company ... does exactly what it says on the tin.

Amazing product! Love the metal applicator and how long the product lasts! Easily can get one and a half months out of one bar! Also doesn’t stain like other brands - just class!

I’ve tried a lot of natural deodorants, and none of them have come close to Shift. It keeps me feeling fresh all day, with zero irritation and no weird residue. The scent is clean and subtle, not overpowering, and it really holds up, even after a workout. Plus, I love that it’s eco-conscious and made with quality ingredients I can trust. Shift has definitely earned a permanent spot in my daily routine!

Shift is a stand out amongst the sea of deodorants. Love that they are plastic free, and the holder is the best I’ve come across (and I’ve tried quite a few). Super simple operation, and the quality is top notch. As for effectiveness, the product works - and there’s no nasty chemicals like most supermarket brands. Definitely worth a try.

Love my shift deodorant. Carry it at all times in my back. Smells great and lasts even in the hot weather we’ve had.

I switched from Wild to Shift and prefer the product. It doesn't leave white stains and lasts longer with less wastage at the end. I also like that the holders do not contain plastic.

I’m nearing the end of my lavender and bergamot and think it’s a lovely smell. It’s the best natural deodorant I’ve used. I just haven’t got on with any others.
I’ve just ordered 3 more in different fragrances. However, I really don’t like the aluminium case . It’s sooo heavy and gets super messy. I decided to ditch the case and just use out the cardboard, perfect ! Super light for travelling and it doesn’t get at all messy.

Used Shift during a hot two-week trip in Portugal (30ºC+). One application a day kept me dry and smelling fresh all day — no need to reapply. It actually works, which is rare.

My mum usually reacts badly to deodorants but had zero issues here. It’s gentle and effective.

Yes, it’s pricier than usual, but it’s worth it if you want something reliable that won’t irritate your skin or leave you stinky. Solid product.

I’ve tried a bunch of natural deodorants and honestly, Shift is the first one that’s I have loved.

I found others like Fussy super dry, but this feels super smooth and the scent is genuinely amazing.

It’s early days, but I already like it way more. Highly recommend giving it a go if you’ve been struggling to find one that actually feels good to use.

Highly recommend, smells unreal and is plastic free. Already told my friends about it!! Lovely business too.

I love this deodorant. It's been so hard finding a natural deodorant without bicarb which I'm extremely allergic to and everything is recyclable. I tried wild's sensitive range but the scents are limited and leave you smelling strange at the end of the day. I've cancelled my subscription with Wild now and moved to Shift. I got the forest green aluminium case and the push up function is so simple and easy however my only gripe is that it can difficult to push up the deodorant with long nails. The scents are lovely, the sage and sea salt is gorgeous and my absolute favourite. I find the scent lasts throughout the day, even going into the next day! I tried the bergamot and cedarwood but it smelled a bit too potent for me but my sister loved it so I gave it her. Overall I'm extremely happy that I found Shift and think everyone should give it a go!

I'm officially converted! After taking advantage of their offer to trial their deodorant, I chose an orange case and the Ylang Ylang and Patchouli scent. I was pleasantly surprised! The case is very well made and looks/feels fantastic quality. The scent is beautiful (it smelt quite strong at first), I'm a woman and once its on your skin it smells lovely!
I've been a user of Wild for many years due to their ethos, however, after selling out to Unilever, I refuse to continue to support the company.
I searched EVERYWHERE for a replacement of Wild and was very lucky to come across an advent on Facebook. Shift are plastic free, vegan and cruelty free, UK made, natural ingredients. Shift actually beats Wild hands down on pretty much everything! The case is easier to use, the refills are less messy and bigger quantity than competitors (wild, fussy, make waves ect), the scent stays ALL day (including the very hot days), no marks on any clothing, the refills last longer. The ONLY small negatives are, that currently there's not much choice in terms of scents and the refills are a tad pricey but personally I'd happily pay it for the quality of Shift.

Fantastic product, arrived very quickly and the case is all aluminum, no plastic! It has a nice feel and it is very easy to use. The scent i got was bergamot & cedarwood and it smells divine. Smooth to apply and i love the push up base option on it, so no moving parts involved. Only needed a little and smelt and felt fresh all day. The refills are slightly bigger than other brands i have used, no complaints on that score, means less need to refill! Very impressed and will be ordering more and testing the other scents.

I love it, the case feels lovely and has a nice weight to it, it’s so easy to assemble and the deodorant works well and smells amazing, no not being sure if you’ve put it on or not!
I’ve used Wild a lot but the fiddly case and large amount left at the end really put me off and had me going back to aerosol which I don’t really want to use, this has got me back to natural deodorant again.

The only thing I would prefer is if the deodorant went back down after use, rather than needing to push it down with my finger or the lid getting deodorant on it.

If it’s this good for the first launch I’ve no doubt it will be amazing in future.

Great product - so much more robust and easy to assemble than the other natural deodorants I've used. It's effective, smells good and feels comfortable to apply. I'll definitely be continuing my subscription and getting the refills.

I've been using natural deodorant for years(wild but have tried fussy as well) and I can say Shift surprised me. The deodorant itself it's strong and efficient. The smell is nice and keeps you dry(I tried the bergamot one) and lasts very long. You might need to apply it 1-2 times depending on Circumstances. Also, I haven't seen any stains yet. It outperformed my wild deo in all these. Negatives: I use 2-3 swipes to cover the whole armpit area and although I've used it only for 3 days quite a lot of product has been used so not sure how long it will last me. Also the case looks very nice and feels quite premium quality but not as practical as the other ones, it's wayyy to heavyyy and doesn't feel natural to hold. Finally, price per refill is double than Wild and limited (3 only) scents to chose from.
However, the deodorant itself it's the best I've tried in terms of smell and protection that I don't care too much about the negatives but would be nice to improve them.
