Very high return costs

Be aware - return costs are very high, so I don’t recommend ordering anything which requires a fit to be checked. I ordered women’s ’universal’ helmet sizing, which had no specific sizing information on the listing, to discover on arrival that this is equivalent to an adult small/small-medium. When I needed to return, I then lost both the original £8 delivery cost and £8 return fee, making it a costly mistake. Customer service very unhelpful.

Returning a Giro helmet- beware

I bought an expensive Giro smart helmet ($250). I tried it on once and the visor hit my nose. I submitted the return form on their website (per their instructions). Never heard back days later. Then I emailed them, no response. I then called the customer service phone number on their website. The message literally said “they were in a meeting and to call back later.” Seriously? I followed up my phone call with another email. I got a response that said I will be receiving a return stamp from fedex soon. And the helmet “should be in a restock-ready condition (it is). Still waiting for the return “stamp.” Unbelievable that a company like Giro would make it so difficult to return a product and have such poor customer service. I’ll update this review if I ever get my return resolved. So frustrating since this wasn’t an inexpensive helmet and I’m adhering to their return policy from a well-known company. So disappointing.

Giro Sector cycling shoes

I ordered a pair of top-end cycling shoes that were delivered with a faulty dial (the securing mechanism). When I asked for a replacement or refund, I was referred to another company (who make the dial) to get it repaired under warantee. When I attempted to complain via the email on Giro's website, I got the delivery failure email message.
